While playing very well on the deck (it deserves the playable badge come on), its only major issue is that the intro and ending do not play, this is easily solvable however.

if youre familiar with proton GE, its quite simple, just use version GE-Proton7-43 and youre good to go, it has to be 7-43 however, as i tried using version GE 9-20 and it did not work.

first go into desktop mode, open discovery and install ProtonUpQt, if you have trouble here's a video explaining how to do it (not my video, but its relevant to the guide, deck wizard is a very cool source of info)


once done, all you gotta do is choose version GE-Proton7-43, download it.

restart the deck.

now go to YS memories properties, compatibillity, then choose the version you just installed (if its not there, restart the deck)

make sure GE-Proton7-43 is chosen.

and done, you can play now.
hopefully the cutscenes will now be fixed and you can enjoy this game hassle free, its worth it, honestly much better than YS seven.
