The map fy_iceworld is one of the most iconic custom maps from Counter-Strike 1.6.
It was created by Kreedz (also known as Balazs “Kreedz” Tuske) in the early 2000s.

Originally designed as a fast-paced “fight yard” (FY) map, fy_iceworld became extremely popular for its simple symmetrical layout and quick rounds. The map features two mirrored spawn areas separated by a central snow-covered arena, encouraging constant close-quarters combat.

Over the years, many remakes and variations appeared across CS: Source, CS:GO, and now CS2, but the original remains a classic piece of Counter-Strike history — known for its minimalism and pure action gameplay.
