Why hello again! As Halloween approaches, it seems best to give you the most terrifying thing of all: co-op logic. I've been meaning to return to this game mode ever since Lush, but I failed to do so. That is, until I rediscovered an old dusty prototype a few weeks ago.

This map stars you, your partner, a laser, and the beloved track platform! If you can believe it, platforms are used very rarely in co-op, and this is partly why I decided to pursue this project. This rarity gave me a lot of will, luckily, since this map was hard to build. The difficulty comes with making any Co-op map.

However, the frustrations were worth it. I'm happy to say Headmaster shaped up to be quite a monster, and it is one of my more challenging puzzles. Have fun!

Rules:
-There is an unfortunate bug where if the player enters the laser-source portal with the cube, it will fly across the room. I cannot fix this, so please be careful.
-Due to Co-op's programming, I cannot disable laser collision. Use this command to remove said collision: sv_cheats 1; sv_player_collide_with_laser 0
-Difficult-to-execute moves aren't needed. No angled laser thru portals, cube tossing, wall running/b-hopping, tight angles & timings, etc.

Oh hey thanks Mark! Haha I love that part as well. For difficulty I think thats fair, although I'd say co-op difficulty rankings are different from single-player. You can argue I still don't have a true medium-hard just yet.

Very nice puzzle! The setup for the platform move in the middle is awesome.
The difficulty felt like medium. About the same level as Shepherd's Crook.

@Nobody No-One yeah, I wasn't able to make the solution 100% strict, but considering you have to do the same things anyway I think its fair. No alternatives are too different or shorter. Thank you for playing, watching you and Aneonen solve the puzzle was fun!

Very neat map! Like Aneonen, I felt that the highlights to figure out were the two sequences where a player stands on that glass panel near the laser-catcher surface . From watching the video, it looks like there's a little bit of leniency in some parts of the solution ( in particular, our ending condition had the laser proceeding from the grated surface into the surface near the exit rather than the other way around ) but the portal manipulation and the different ways the players have to plan ahead was really fun. The classic Mattchew setup with the permafizzler + grating felt quite evil here. Big thumbs up!

I didn't beat it, so im sad :( I didnt know what to do after getting n the other sideof the bridge. Not even power of friendship saved us
