Setup
Step 1: Import the asset from the workshop

Step 2: Create the following user properties (titles/keys are not important for these):
Checkbox - "Enable App Dock"
Slider - "Icon Size"
Checkbox - "Drag and Drop"

Step 3: Tie the essential general App Dock settings:
Tie the visibility toggle of the layer "App Launcher Dock" to "Enable App Dock".
Tie the slider from the same layer called "Base Icon Size" to "Icon Size".
Tie the "is Movable" toggle from the layer "Drag and Drop" to the "Drag and Drop" property.

Step 4; Create icon user properties:
Optimally each icon should have it´s own controls to allow for quick removal/change of any icon.
We need one "Checkbox" and one "User Shortcut" property for each icon (16 by default).

Optimally you title these properties
Checkboxes: "Enable #1", "Enable #2", "Enable #3", "Enable #4"...
User Shortcuts: "Launcher #1", "Launcher #2", "Launcher #3", "Launcher #4"...

Wallpaper Engine will automatically create a key for the property by removing capitalization, symbols and spaces. If the first symbol happens to be a number then it will add a "_" before it.

Step 5: Tie the user properties to the icons
Each "Enable #" needs to be tied to "Enable #" found on the "Background | Logic" layer.

If you did not title your user shortcut properties "Launcher #" then you need to go into your project settings, open up the user shortcuts and look at the key of the property.
Mind that the key is the grey text underneath the textbox where you edit the property Title that is visible to the user
Each icon layer has a textbox which needs to contain the exact key (not title) of the property it should trigger when clicked.

For icon layers to use the texture provided by the shortcut you also need to tie the icon layers texture (click the texture box all the way at the bottom) to each "Launcher #" user shortcut property.
1.3 Setup (not online yet)
THE FOLLOWING IS THE SETUP FOR A FUTURE VERSION THAT IS NOT ONLINE YET! DO NOT CONTINUE!

If you are not familiar with editing the "project.json" then create a backup of your project via "File -> Save As". Make 100% sure that you know what you´re doing or try it on a backup first!

Step 1:
Make sure to close the editor and open your project folder via right clicking your wallpaper in the Wallpaper Engine window and selecting "Open in Explorer".

Step 2:
If your project already contains more than 300 user properties then DO NOT do this next step and create the properties manually! (this part of the Guide will be added soon)

Open "project.json" and paste the content of this file[github.com] at the bottom of the "properties" and save the file. (The image shows the project.json of an empty wallpaper, your "properties" might contain more than just "schemecolor".)

Step 3:
Open your project in the editor and import the asset from the workshop.

Step 4:
Name the texture file you want to use as the default icon "default_dock_icon.png" and import it as a new layer. The missing texture should now be replaced with your texture, you can delete the new layer.

Step 5:
Apply the wallpaper on your desktop and make sure everything works. If something is wrong then create another backup and try again.

Again, please make sure to create a backup of your project and trying it on that first. I cannot take responsibility for any broken projects resulting from not doing so
