Quick mod to add Atana, got asked on the Kukerade mod page to add Athens, honestly didn't intend to add any/much more faction mods, but got that itch to make one faction mod and then didn't know which to make, so since someone wanted it tilted it in Athens favour. :)

Trivia:
Mycenaean Athens, existing roughly from 1600 to 1100 BCE, was a significant center of the Mycenaean civilization. This period is marked by developments in architecture, trade, and social structure, laying a foundation for later Classical Athens.

Very much myth based mod, as with most with Greece in this game, mods are and this time-period, however, tried to fit into an historical context. He's married to made up Aneterea with made up Teraipone. He's eventually tried to marry mythical Helen[en.wikipedia.org], but failed.

The faction roster is heavy in Spear units, which are also this faction's strong suite. This faction isn't the strongest military power, unlike Kukurade which is stronger militarily, this faction has an focus on economy.
