FAT-30 Auxiliary Transmission

This mod adds realistic heavy-haul transmissions to ATS by pairing the Eaton UltraShift PLUS VMS (11-speed) and VXP (18-speed) with the Cummins-Meritor FAT-30 auxiliary, using real specs for extreme torque in mining, logging, or oversized cargo jobs.

The Cummins-Meritor FAT-30, originally developed by Fabco, is a heavy-duty auxiliary transmission that enhances primary truck transmissions in vocational and heavy-haul applications by acting as a three-speed add-on unit with underdrive, direct drive, and overdrive. Rated for up to 30,000 ft-lbs of input torque, it multiplies gears for finer ratios, enabling low-speed crawling under loads exceeding 100,000 lbs GVW in mining, logging, construction, or oilfield work. Mounted in-line behind the main transmission like a transfer case, the FAT-30 is designed for compatibility with both manual and automatic main transmissions, including Eaton's UltraShift PLUS series.

Features:
- VMS + FAT-30: 33 forward gears (up to ~280:1 low with 4.30:1 diff), 9 reverses, with retarder.
- VXP + FAT-30: 54 forward gears (up to ~280:1 low with 4.30:1 diff), 12 reverses, with retarder.
- Custom U/D/O labels for FAT-30 modes; automatic shifting (high gear counts suit sequential controls or keyboards; for PC shifters like Logitech or Thrustmaster, enable manual override in-game and remap buttons/keys as needed for sequential or H-pattern use).
- Model Year: 2019. Shift time: 0.8 seconds.

Five differential ratios for torque vs. speed tuning:
- 3.42:1: Tall for ~80-85 mph highway cruises with lighter heavy loads.
- 3.55:1: Balanced all-rounder (~75 mph top) for most Special Transport jobs.
- 3.73:1: Mid-torque (~70 mph) for inclines and 100k+ lb hauls.
- 4.11:1: Strong puller (~65 mph) for mountains/off-road.
- 4.30:1: Max creep (~60 mph) for heaviest loads on steep grades.
