Taking a great classic map and giving it some polish and cleaning.

Active updating version of the NY Corridor map originally posted by BreakingMetrics aka rmahd last updated in 2017 so I decided to keep this map alive after loading up the game again recently noticed it really had some issues likely due to game updates over the years. So...


Towns moved and adjusted rotations and placement of some resources.
Elevation Fixed now places that should be 400-470 ft ASL,
This allows getting height requirement achievement completed.
Water edging fixed, adjusted terrain height to make water level easier on edge.
Weird terrain slope artifacts in water minimalized now down to a few spots only.

Major difference forgot to mention... This PNG height map uses 16-bit grayscale not 8-bit and has much much more smoother transitions now that the game is using almost the full 500 ft height level. Originally game only seen the height at best 290 which limited one from earning one achievement.

If anyone has any suggestions as to changes in the maps included town positions or resource layout/types feel free to post them.

This is purely being done for fun currently and would say likely about 90% done.

Going to try and get Liberty/Ellis Island workable possibly also in the future.

Really enjoyed this map so after trying out the game again in 2025 noticed it really needed some help and tweaking. Ended up noticing several major towns not even in the right places, Rivers just broken off as strings of lakes that don't exist... and other things. One big one that got me working on this was some achievments are not possible but I fixed this for a few.

Totally give credit to the original maker of this mod and did fair amount of changes to post under fair use with only keeping it up to date in mind. If needed will take it down if asked. But enjoy it especially the changes I did to Brooklyn and the cities around Manhattan.

This is actually the second update but almost did not notice it posted it as a new mod itself so starting now at ver1.2
