For this guide, I will have it set up in a way where the first half of the guide will contain the original 6 achievements, like if you were playing the original game (legacy if you may). The other part of the guide will contain the new achievements and how to obtain them.

As simple as the description of the achievement goes, drink all of the beer located in a yellow crate at the front deck.

After a few beers down the hatch, get back to fishing. There ain't nothing that's gonna stop the debtors from hunting us down for their money.
Once you fish Cagliuso up again and about to gut him, when he asks whether you want to hear how the tale goes, respond 'yes'. Afterwards, he'll tell you to turn the page and now he will appear where all the gutted fish lay... what a place to stand on...

Anyways, converse with and he will begin to ramble that for anyone who finds him that he owes to them and will offer a treasure to you. An odd eyeball is what he offers. He insists to use it as your lure and to see what happens. The eyeball will now be attached to your line. Once he gives you the eyeball you get the achievement.

After gutting the gold fish, return the fish box. Cagliuso confirms he has completed his transaction for assisting you and takes the eyeball from you. We somehow remind him of someone and asks if we were in financial trouble, no matter the option, he has taken too much of our time and leaves. He reminds you, if you need any help to ring the bell. As he leaves the boat's phone rings, odd ... who would call us at this hour of the night, let alone them knowing whose phone is connected to. Pick up the phone to see what's going on.

Who would've guessed who's on the other line, our debtors. Select whatever options you want they will say you're running out of time and we only have 45 mins to make up our €70k+ of debt ... fantastic. Alright, don't be in a rush, we know who can help, Cagliuso. Ring the bell and speak with him. He will ask what's going on and we explain that they need their money and FAST. He will explain how bad we are with money but we can care less, we need help. He will ask you to hand over a beer ... how unfortunate that we drank it all. No worries, he'll give us another alternative and gives us a phone number to call. Once you stop conversing with him, call the phone number given. No matter the selection of choices you choose, besides trying to go for "How's the moon?" and the other new achievements, once the phone call ends simply go back to Cagliuso and he will handover the eyeball again giving you the achievement.

Now when calling the phone number given to you by Cagliuso, explain to the widow that you aren't Ciruzzo -- "I'm not Ciruzzo".

Afterwards, stay on the line with her but stay silent with every prompt given. Whenever the widow goes about there being someone to help us. You could either agree to meet up with that person or not.
I HIGHLY advise to go ahead and agree to wanting to meet up with that someone if you don't have any of the newer achievements.
However for this specific achievement, it doesn't matter what you choose.

Once she asks how the moon looks, choose any option and you will receive the achievement. May the widow now rest with her lost lover.

After the call, fish using the eyeball. After two fishing sessions, Cagliuso will once again take the eyeball and wish us farewell once again. However, there will be another call being made to your boat again, and once again it is the debtors but they now want double the amount...
Fantastic. Agree or Protest, they both result the same way of your debt being double from the original 999,999 euros beforehand. The debtor on the line explains that he is but a messenger and that he also needs to pay his own debts like us. He also explains that we shouldn't try to escape because instead of hounding us about the debt, they'll harass our family. Choose whatever response you want, they all end the same.

Now seek help from Cagliuso again, he will ask how much in the hole are we again. Say the amount we're deep into or don't, he'll bring up that we did everything wrong. Agree to disagree but he is right, how did we end up in this situation with so much debt to our name. Doesn't matter now, what matters is that we can get out of the problem we're in with the eye Cagliuso has. He is willing to sell the eyeball to us in exchange for our own eye... We must give it up to him. Go to the back of the boat and gouge our right eye out and hand it to Cagliuso. Once done he'll give us the eyeball to use again.

Keep fishing till your debt is fully paid -- 0€ in debt remaining
Once done the achievement shall pop.

After paying off your debt now travel back to port to give the money to your debtors, but the time to get over there is more than what the time you have left. WHAT DO WE DO???
Speak with Cagliuso and he shall offer to send the money to your debtors in exchange for your boat. Go ahead and forfeit your boat to him. You will now get a call back from the debtor exclaiming that we got it done and to head on back to port to celebrate your success on getting your debt paid. Though Cagliuso will have other plans for you stating that property is sacred and you are on his property... After being eaten by the shark the achievement will pop up.

Now to receive this achievement you need to follow a process with the widow, the conversation with her states whether or not we would want to be introduced to someone who may help us in our situation. His name is of course the Captain.

After handing over our eye to Cagliuso and after getting ~3 fishes, there will a phone call that will be received, on the line will be the Captain. Answer as truthfully with him and he shall give you instructions on how to meet him. What he will detail is that you need to do is cast your line between 19-20 meters from the boat, nothing less, nothing more. Once that is done he will appear on his boat underwater, he will stop time to allow him to converse with you on how to help your situation and answer any particular questions

Now you can go ahead get more lore of the game, but we're here for achievements, so select "Let's talk about your offer.".
After explaining that he cannot be defeated, he offer you to join him. More options pop up, select "Give me details."

He will then further go explaining the difference between Cagliuso and his dark mannerism and deceitfulness with people, and the superior and 'better' choice of working for the Captain. However, he explains more further who he is. For he is Death. He shows you the Job Application and now lets you decide whether to work for him and avoid Cagliuso's grasp or ignore his offer and succumb to the debt that is controlled by Cagliuso. Whichever you decide, signing or not, after the end of the interaction and as he drifts back into the depths of the sea, you will get the achievement.

For this ending, you must sign the contract that the Captain offers to you. Although he chains you by the neck, you are safe from what Cagliuso might've done well... already have done since the 1st iteration of this game only had 1 ending where it ended with us getting eaten by the shark.

The Captain explains to you that whenever Cagliuso requests an impossible thing of us to say that "The Captain offered me a job and I signed the Contract."
For now, continue fishing till you debt is paid off fully. Once that has happened and you need to get the cash over to your loan shark, call Cagliuso for your final request to be fulfilled in exchange of your ship which you agree to. All of the gold fishes teleport to port and your debtors exclaim you should come back to celebrate.


Unfortunately, Cagliuso sees you as a trespasser on his property...
Whenever he asks what more can we offer him, we will state the following in the prompts

• The Captain offered me a job, and I signed the Contract.

After that confrontation with Cagliuso, him and his shark disappear. Once they do, your phone begins to ring. The caller is of course, the Captain. He is there to inform you on when to work and your starting day being Monday. He repairs your boat and tells you to prepare to work come that day.

The post narration breakdown on your decision begins and afterwards, you get the achievement.

For this particular ending, you must decline signing into joining the Captain's work. He will ask why and re-offer you the contract again but insist on declining it. He will state that your actions will have consequences. The Captain says that he will send your regards to your wife and states that "A small lie to comfort those your dreams dragged to the bottom of the sea."
Odd that they would say lie... Maybe that'll be useful.

Get to the same point as before with the 9 to 5 where you are speaking with Cagliuso about him saying you being on his ship and follow the prompts as they are listed here.

After all is said and done, both shark and Cagliuso both disappear into the sea and the phone starts ringing. You pick up the phone to realize it is the Captain. He is surprised you escaped Cagliuso's trap of getting you killed by your debt. The Captain does retort that this will not be their last encounter however since there is always a certain measure of Death. After his brief speech, he repairs the engine of your boat. With this, return back to port. After a breakdown of the story and actions you've done, you get the achievement.

Once you're on the boat, simply look down at the 'engine' of the boat and click/interact with it.

Once that is done, it will ask you whether you want to leave and if so there will be consequences, select 'yes'.


Now after that selection, you will return back to port where your loan shark and his crew will be waiting for their payment. Where you, having done not a single thing, not even reeled at least one fish, have no money. At this point you will be given various speech options, but no matter the selection, they will all end the same with you being shot dead. Once you go over your decision with the narrator, it will give you the achievement.

Start fishing. Of course follow the instructions that are provided: Cast your line more than 8 meters out, if no tension hold you left click/m1, if there is tension do light taps. once you get a fish, take them to the back of the boat and gut them. Once done, throw 'em in the middle of boat where there is a pile of fish. Don't repeat his mistakes.

After reeling in 2 fish, your 3rd fish will be ending up being this odd fish only having one eye. This particular fish's name is Cagliuso, truly a strange character let alone for him to be a fish on your line. Though you see the price he has on his head so you must do what you must to escape your debtors.

Once he is caught bring him over to back of the ship to gut him. However he will push back and scream to stop once you start. Listen to him for a bit and once he asks if you want to know how his mysterious tale goes, go straight back to gutting him.

He will scream again, saying you can't gut him. Ignore his pleas and continue what you must to escape the loan shark on your tail. GUT. HIM.

While gutting him, he speaks of how he has cheated many other fishermen before you, but now to die like the fish that he really is, how tragic it must be...
After his poetic telling, you will receive the achievement.

After gutting Cagliuso you have enough money to buy yourself an escape but leave your family and loved ones behind, or settle some of the debt with the loan shark and buy yourself some time with the fish's corpse...

Hey! You've put yourself in this situation and the best solution right now has to be escaping, right? Flee from the situation and live the best you can in your life.
Though, should you really? You are given an option -- do you turn back... no matter what you decide to choose Cagliuso will mock you, both resulting in the same ending, abandoning your close ones and avoiding your debtors. Coward...

A breakdown on your decision with the narrator will begin. After the breakdown on your decision making, you will get this achievement.

Let's change our mindset. Instead of being selfish, what if we brought that fish back to the loan shark, you saw how much that was... Let's give it a go!

Get back to catching Cagliuso, ignore his repetitive pleas and gut him. Now we're back with the same dilemma -- Flee or Pay the debt partially. Let's be better people than we were last time. Rather than abandoning our family and letting them deal with your debtors, pay it partially. You set back to the port, hopefully our debtors are kind people, right?

Once you get back to port, you see debtors, a whole group of them. They never go alone, do they...
That doesn't matter, you offer the fish as your first payment to your debt. They surprisingly accept, great! Though you aren't off the hook yet, you still owe. In turn they break an arm of yours, but at least it bought you time. Time to think. Time to act. Time to do something. Time to suffer...

After that brief interaction, you will get the achievement.

Now for the following 3 achievements I'll go ahead and explain the beginning scenario of where you should be since all 3 nearly follow the same dialogue options. For all 3, once you have Cagliuso on the cutting board, select "Gut him".

Once he rambles more on why we shouldn't gut him ask "Why not?". This will be the opener for all 3 achievements that will be shown now!

When the 3 options appear select "Tell me a joke and make me laugh."

He'll question your request but insist on him making a joke, after he makes his terrible attempt at a joke, you get the achievement.

When the 3 options appear select "You must solve a riddle."

Now I'm pretty sure you needed to select other options in order for this achievement to trigger, but you get the achievement immediately for selecting that option...

When the 3 options appear select "If you're magical, read my mind"

Cagliuso will say he doesn't do that type of magic saying it's humiliating.Says the fish.
After he says that, options will now change, now select "It'll be better for you if you do it."

After, he willingly waivers to your convincing speech, definitely non-threatening , the achievement will pop
