General Achievements
"Not a Moment to Waste"
Call 15 waves early.
Calling in waves just requires you to click the skull icon when it pops up on the side of the map where enemies are going to show up. Do so before the time expires to call in a wave early. Do this 15 times and you'll unlock this achievement.

"The cavalry is here!"
Summon 1000 reinforcements.
Summoning 1,000 reinforcements sounds far more daunting than it really is, so getting it will come naturally if you use them frequently. You'll probably earn this around the time you start doing the "Veteran" and "Iron" difficulties for the main campaign.

Don't worry about it; you'll earn it through naturally playing the game.

"Unending Riches"
Collect a total of 150000 gold.
You'll earn this before finishing all three difficulties on just the main campaign alone, so don't worry about trying to stack up just gold; you'll earn this through naturally playing the game and working on other achievements.

"Ovine Journalism"
Find Sheepy in each campaign terrain.
There are three campaign terrains for the main story. Sheepy is located in each one a singular time. You need to reach at least level 12 to unlock this achievement. Simply clicking on Sheepy will count towards the total once the animation they do completes. They are located here:

Sheep #1 - Emerald Treetops (Level 4)
Sheep #2 - Wicked Crossing (Level 9)
Sheep #3 - Blighted Farmlands (Level 12)

"We Are All Mad Here"
Find the elusive cat in each Undying Fury campaign stage.
The Undying Fury campaign consists of only three levels, so there are only three instances that you need to locate the cat. You have to start the level before the cat shows up, but it does shortly after the battle unfolds. They can be found here in each level:

Cat Location #1 - Misty Ruins (Level 17)
Cat Location #2 - Deepleaf Outpost (Level 18)
Cat Location #3 - Temple of the Fallen (Level 19)

"Runequest"
Activate all six runes throughout the Everadiant Forest.
The first six levels of the game contain a rune that needs to be activated. You don't need to complete the level afterwards for the rune to count towards the total. Simply click on them. They are located in the following locations:

Level 1
Level 2
Level 3
Level 4
Level 5
Level 6
General Achievements
"Obliterate!
Find the pieces of the forbidden robot in each Colossal Dwarfare stage.
You can find these pieces during the Colossal Dwarfare campaign. Look out for them here:

Robot Piece #1 - Darksteel Gates (Level 23)
Robot Piece #2 - Frantic Assembly (Level 24)
Robot Piece #3 - Colossal Core (Level 25)
Robot Piece #4 - Replication Chamber (Level 26)
Robot Piece #5 - Dominion Dome (Level 27)

"Mighty Monkey"
Help Wukong's distant cousin eliminate the strange plague.
The plague in question comes in the form of, what appears to be, a spider-like creature that is present in every level of the Wukong's Journey campaign. Simply click on the specimen in each level to rid it of the plague.

On the final level, you'll unlock this achievement. You can find the creatures here:
Plague #1 - Celestial Monkey Forest (Level 31)
Plague #2 - Fire Dragon Cave (Level 32)
Plague #3 - Tempest Island (Level 33)
Plague #4 - The Eye of the Storm (Level 34)
Plague #5 - The Demon King Stronghold (Level 35)
Star Achievements
"Learning the Ropes"
Finish the Tutorial with 3 stars.
Simply finish level one (the tutorial). If you leak enemies on the tutorial, then prepare for a long road ahead of you.

"Saviour of the Green"
Get 3 stars on every stage of the Everadiant Forest.
Earn top marks (3 stars) on the first six levels as shown below to unlock this achievement.

"Crystal Clear"
Get 3 stars on every stage of the Forsaken Canyon.
Earn top marks (3 stars) on level seven to eleven as shown below to unlock this achievement.

"Conqueror of the Void"
Get 3 stars on every stage of the Void Beyond.
Earn top marks (3 stars) on level 12 to 16 as shown below to unlock this achievement.
Difficulty Achievements
"Age of Heroes" & "Ironclad"
Win all the Heroic Mode campaign challenges & Win all the Iron Mode campaign challenges.
Both Heroic and Iron modes and their respective achievements only require you to complete the main campaign up to level 15 to unlock each achievement.

The final boss level (level 16) only has one standard difficulty, so it doesn't count. The DLC campaigns have their own achievements for finishing them.

There are no Heroic or Iron achievements for the side campaigns.

"Seasoned General"
Complete the campaign on Veteran difficulty.
The campaign refers to the original run from levels one through level 16. You can do these on standard challenge mode (Not Heroic or Iron) and simply change the difficulty while in the overworld (hit [ESC] and then swap the difficulty level) to either Veteran or Impossible difficulty.

Beat all the levels for the regular campaign on "Veteran" difficulty to unlock this achievement.

"Master Tactician"
Complete the campaign on Impossible difficulty.
While it is called "impossible", this achievement is very much doable. In fact, it is extremely easy. By the time you get to this point, you'll have all available upgrades and fully upgraded heroes. I found any of the three dragon heroes to be extremely strong; they can often hold the early waves off by themselves, or with one fully upgraded tower.

I also highly recommend the Twilight Longbow tower and the upgrade to permanently increase their attack on kills, upgraded by the Arcane Mage to boost their damage output by 40%.

On completing every level, you'll unlock your achievement. Nice work!
Hero Achievements
"Signature Techniques"
Use Hero Powers 500 times.
This counts across all heroes and all of their abilities. this does not count when calling in reinforcements, as those are tallied separately for a completely different achievement.

"Forest Protector"
Reach level 10 with Nyru.
A pretty straightforward achievement; I do recommend using some of the heroes listed in these achievements early on. Only a handful have to be level 10 for various achievements, but they are time consuming and not recommended towards the end of your achievement hunting.

"Dark Lieutenant"
Reach level 10 with Raelyn.
A pretty straightforward achievement; I do recommend using some of the heroes listed in these achievements early on. Only a handful have to be level 10 for various achievements, but they are time consuming and not recommended towards the end of your achievement hunting.

"Royal Captain"
Reach level 10 with Vesper.
A pretty straightforward achievement; I do recommend using some of the heroes listed in these achievements early on. Only a handful have to be level 10 for various achievements, but they are time consuming and not recommended towards the end of your achievement hunting.

"Untamed Beast"
Reach level 10 with Grimson.
A pretty straightforward achievement; I do recommend using some of the heroes listed in these achievements early on. Only a handful have to be level 10 for various achievements, but they are time consuming and not recommended towards the end of your achievement hunting.
Tower Achievements
"War Masonry"
Build 100 towers.
You'll earn this through normal gameplay; it'll unlock somewhere around the first major boss level.

"Linirean Resistance"
Win a stage using only Linirean towers and heroes.
Linirean towers and heroes will be marked by their blue and gold flag on their respective portrait when you select them. As long as you have access to two Linirean heroes and five Linirean towers, you can unlock this achievement.

Beat any level on any difficulty and you'll earn this reward.

"Dark Ruthlessness"
Win a stage using only Dark Army towers and heroes.
Dark Army towers and heroes will be marked by their purple and black flag on their respective portrait when you select them. As long as you have access to two Dark Army heroes and five Dark Army towers, you can unlock this achievement.

Beat any level on any difficulty and you'll earn this reward.
Enemy Achievements
"Mighty I"
Slay 500 enemies.
Sounds like a lot of enemies, but you rack up kills quickly; you should unlock this within the first few levels of the main campaign.

"Mighty II"
Slay 3000 enemies.
The 3,000 enemy hurtle will come somewhere at the end of the Everadiant Forest when you are fighting Goregrind, or the level afterwards. It comes quickly, so don't worry about it.

"Mighty III"
Slay 10000 enemies.
The 10,000 enemy hurtle will come before completing the main campaign on both "Veteran" and "Iron" difficulties, so don't worry about grinding for it.

"Promotion Denied"
Kill 30 Cult Priests before they transform into Abominations.
Cult Priests begin appearing on level eight. When they fight and get critically low on health, they transform into Abominations and fully regain their health in the process.

When they are low on health, they start to radiate red and a few moments later they transform. Kill them before either by quickly killing them, or with high damage as they are glowing. Do this thirty times to unlock this achievement.

There are enough on level nine to ideally get this in one shot if you focus on killing them right away.

"We're Not Gonna Take It"
Kill 15 Twisted Sisters before they can spawn a Nightmare.
Very early on, when a Twisted Sister appears on the battlefield, they will summon a Nightmare.

The best tactic is to have a hero or some reinforcements at the ready to move to the outer edge of the path they are walking once they appear.

They don't summon the Nightmares immediately, so you have a brief window to get your heroes in place to deal with them.

You can find plenty of them across all difficulties on levels 7-10 of the main campaign.

"Pest Control"
Kill 300 Glarelings.
Glarelings appear in massive numbers during the "Iron" difficulty of level 11, "Canyon Plateau". One or two playing through the map on all difficulties should net you most of them, while "Iron" seems them in huge numbers, catapulting you to 300 in no time.

"Turn a Blind Eye"
Kill 100 Corruption Spawns while they are under the effects of the Glare.
The Glare is that giant eyeball in the ground that opens up and heals enemy units during certain waves. While it heals quite rapidly, it is still entirely possible to kill enemies while under the effect if you can dish out enough damage, or it is a low level enemy like a Glareling, which can be killed in one or two hits.

You need to kill 100 enemies while under the effect of this healing eye. The Glare is found on levels 12-15.

"All the Small Things"
Eliminate 182 Blinkers.
Blinkers, or Void Blinkers as they are referred to in the encyclopedia in game, start appearing on level 12 and can be found through level 15. Kill 182 of them to unlock this achievement.

"Scrambled Eggs"
Kill 50 crokinder before they hatch.
During the Arborean levels (20 - XX), you'll encounter enemy Crokinders, which are almost-hatched crocodiles that come hopping onto the field and, after a few seconds, they will hatch. Before they hatch, you'll need to kill them.

Heroes work, as do their respective abilities, as well as upgraded Twilight Longbow towers due to their huge damage output and massive range. Kill 50 before they hatch and you'll unlock this achievement.

"Garbage Disposal"
Eliminate 10 Mad Tinkerers before they can spawn Scrap Drones.
You'll earn this one probably without trying. Mad Tinkerers start appearing at levels 24-26 and will try to fix piles of scrap on the field to make more enemies with it. Defeat them prior to them doing so to unlock this achievement.

"No Flying Zone."
Kill 50 Ballooning Spiders.
Ballooning Spiders are introduced in the very first level (level 28) of the Spider Queen campaign. Playing once through the level will net you all the spiders you'll need to unlock this achievement.
Boss Achievements
"Pork's Off the Menu"
Defeat Goregrind.
Goregrind is the final boss of the Everadiant Forest campaign portion of the main game. He's slightly resistant to physical damage, so magic-based towers will be your friend in this level. Upon his defeat, you'll earn this achievement.

"Tangled Up"
Defeat Goregrind before jumping in Impossible difficulty
This is much easier than it sounds. There are a few methods, but this is how I did it. First, bring the any two dragon Heroes (Lumenir, Kosmyr or Bonehart). I opted for Lumenir and Kosmyr for this attempt.

Next, bring the following towers: Twlight Longbows, Arcane Wizard and Eldritch Channelers. The other two towers can be anything you see fit. Here is the setup you'll want by the final wave:

The Arcane Wizard that is circled on the right need to be fully upgraded with its ability to boost the damage output of the two towers above it (see the red arrows). Both Eldritch Channelers need to be fully upgraded and the Twilight Longbows need to be fully upgraded with both abilities. It is important to make that twilight Longbow tower (the one circled) maxed out and equipped with its "Thrill of the Hunt" ability as quickly as possible so it can power up over the course of the waves and deal massive damage to Goregrind.

Lastly, you want to upgrade your Heroes powers from the upgrade menu to have the last upgrade called "Limit Pushing" so the 5th time you use their ability, it instantly recharges. Make sure you use them four times and hold onto it until Goregrind comes out.

Once he does, he'll land on the red "X" on the right side of the map. Have your heroes there at the end of the final wave and unleash their abilities back-to-back while summoning troops. He should go down extremely quick with this method.

"Glory to the King"
Rescue the Linirean King.
This is the main boss and the culmination of working through the Forsaken Canyon campaign. On level eleven you'll face him; he isn't all that hard, but you're mobbed at the same time by a plethora of enemies, so pay close attention to your exit points and you should be fine.

He moves pretty slow overall, so him escaping through your defenses isn't likely.

"Bye, Bye, Beautiful"
Defeat Seeres Mydrias
Mydrias will appear as the boss of level 15 during the level "The Eyesore Tower". She's pretty straightforward like the previous boss; she'll teleport here and there after taking enough damage and she'll try to ensnare your heroes to temporarily immobilize them.

Again, not difficult so you shouldn't have any trouble unlocking this achievement.

"Conjuntivictory"
Defeat the Overseer.
The Overseer is found on the final level of the Void beyond Campaign, level 16. There is only one level of difficulty for this final level. The towers near the Overseer's eye will continually attack it when other, smaller enemies are not in range.

As you lower its health, it'll start moving towers to different locations; lower it even more and the Overseer will start destroying them completely. When you start getting to this point, it is best to focus on upgrading your towers near the eye to pummel it as quickly as possible.

Upon winning, you'll unlock this achievement.

"See ya later, alligator"
Defeat Abominor, the devourer.
During the match, Abominor will occassionally break out of their restraints long enough to devour one of your towers. You can rebuild them back to where they were, but it costs a flat 220 gold to do so.

On the final wave, he'll break out and walk the path to the exit. He can still devour towers in the same manor, so have some gold in reserve for when he does. As he takes damage, he'll transform from Abominor, through Abominor Venomus to Abominor Ignis as he's final form.

He gets substantially slower each time, giving you time to put on the damage and eliminate him before he reaches the end.

"Self-Unemployment"
Defeat Grymbeard and stop the construction of the war machine.
Grymbeard operates his machines during the fight, but will emerge outside of them in a suit of armor once you clear the final wave. It's a pretty straightforward fight except he will shower scap on your towers, which costs gold to clear before they become operational again.

I'd recommend going into the final few rounds with a healthy supply of gold to remove the obstructions right away so you can eliminate him quickly.
Boss Achievements
"Everything Changed..."
Defeat Red Boy and his fire army.
Red Boy is the final boss of level 32 and sits upon a fire dragon during the match. He'll throw down fireballs during the match that will engulf the routes in fire and kill your heroes on impact if you don't get them out of the way.

Aside from that, he has the dragon cover your towers in fire, causing them to be out of commission until you spend 100 gold on water to dowse the flames. This attack is the primary offense on the final bout between you and him; when he leaves his dragon after the final wave, start laying on the damage.

One thing to remember is to keep a small pile of gold in reserves so you can put out any flaming towers during the final fight and you should come out on top.

"An Evil Wind is Rising"
Defeat Princess Iron Fan and her water army.
Princess Iron Fan appears on level 34. I recommend focusing all your gold on the end of the enemy's path (left of the ponds) near the exits; when Princess Iron Fan finally comes out after the final wave, she'll spawn three clones of herself from the ponds and then appear at the center of pond.

This means she is already halfway done with the map when she can finally be damaged. Do not skimp on upgrades and focus on Arcane Wizard towers to boost the damage of everything nearby to help defeat her quickly.

"The Return of the Monkey King"
Defeat The Bull Demon King at his fortress.
Level 35 is where you'll face off against the Bull Demon King. He is one of the more manageable bosses, as he doesn't really have any tricks other than temporarily disabling your towers with walls of sand.

He'll start on the lower-left side of the map when he comes out, so focus most of your towers there. Eventually, when he gets close to the end of that path, cannons will fire, blocking that exit. He'll smash through the center and head towards the right exit, but he should go down before he passes that newly created gap.

"A Farewell to Arms"
Defeat Mygale, the Spider Queen.
Mygale comes into play on level 30. She's got a few tricks up her sleeve, but all-in-all, should be a quick dispatch on lower difficulties.

She jumps onto the left-side of the field at the start. She'll throw webs at your screen to obscure your vision, as well as sending armies of spiders to encase your towers in sticky webs. If you click on them quick enough you can negate that attack.

Keep your heroes on her and you should have no issues.
Level 1 Achievements
"Tipping the Scales"
Throw Robin Wood to the river.
On level 1 (tutorial), click on Robin Wood and his companion at the top of your screen. Whops, they fell!

"Field Trip Ruiner"
Put out the camper's fire.
On level one, there is a gentleman, minding his own business, cooking some meat over a campfire.
Let's ruin his day! Click on the fire to put it out. He'll add more wood and re-lite the fire; let's put it out again.

Do this until he puts a copious amount of logs on the fire, torching his dinner and causing him to sulk back to his tent in disappointment.

How rude of us...

Level 2 Achievements
"Circle of Life"
Attend the presentation of the newborn Arborean.
On the right-side of the screen, before you start the match, click on the elder Arborean to recreate the circle of life moment. He'll raise him up and...wait, did he just fly away?!.

"It's a Secret to Everyone"
Help Lank fish 5 rupees.
This one you'll have to pay attention to during the entirety of the map. You'll see not-Link fishing by the lake. If you click him, he'll either fish up a shoe, a small fish or nothing at all. You'll need to wait until he tugs on the line himself and an exclamation point appears next to him.

Click him then and he'll fish up a red rupee and you'll earn some gold for your assistance. Do this five times and it will unlock this achievement.
Level 3 Achievements
"Most Delicious"
Feed some honey to Biggie the Arborean.
On this level, you'll see several smaller Arborean critters hanging around and one, much larger one in the center of the map next to some honey containers.

Click on the aforementioned "Biggie" Arborean to have them eat some honey. Do so three times to unlock this achievement. They'll fall asleep after the third taste...I think at least? I'm sure they're fine.

"Nature's Wrath"
Kill 30 enemies using the Heart of the Arboreans.
On this level, the Heart of the Forest is charged several times during the match by the Arborean mage in the center of the area. When ready, click on it to unleash a volley of magic orbs that will due significant damage to the enemies on the field.

Kill 30 enemies with this to unlock this achievement. Do note that it can be done over multiple playthroughs of the level and might take two or three attempts to collect all the kills needed.

"Playful Friends"
Play 'burrow' with all of the Arboreans in the Heart of the Forest.
There are five Arborean children that scatter the map. Click on them to have them temporarily burrow into the ground. Do this with all five to unlock this achievement. They can be located here:

Level 4 Achievements
"Game Over"
Push the Arboreans from the treetops.
There are four Arboreans to find in this level. Three are walking along some of the treetop bridges, while one is climbing up and down a vine up in the top of the map. Click on all four of them to watch them fall, unlocking this achievement.

"Greenlit Allies"
Summon 10 Arborean Thornspears
On level four, there is a small barracks-like building towards the end exits on the map and one towards the start of the enemies path. There you can summon up to three Arborean Thornspear allies that will fight alongside you per barracks.
They cost 50 gold per unit and can be summoned throughout the match. Summon 10 total and you'll unlock this achievement.

You do not need to do it all in one game. If you wanted, you could summon three from each and just reset the game, doing this until you unlock the achievement should you like. It's up to you.
Level 5 Achievements
"Cleanup is Optional"
Complete the Ravaged Outskirts without clearing rubble from the strategic points.
For this level, there are three tower locations that you can use, but you have to pay gold to have the debris removed prior to doing so.

For this achievement, you have to win the level, but cannot clear those rubble piles. If you can't manage it in the early game, come back when you have more upgrades and you should have much issue doing it.

You can accomplish this achievement on any difficulty level.
Level 6 Achievements
"Crafting in the Mines"
Collect all three pork chops in the Wildbeast Den.
There are three suspiciously square pigs digging in the mines on this map. Double click all three to turn them into tasty pork chops to unlock this achievement. They are located here:

"None Shall Pass!"
Complete the Wildbeast Den without letting extra enemies go through the door.
On this level, you'll see a gate on the left side of the map. Throughout the level, enemy Tusk Brawlers will come and try to open the gate.

Your towers can't hit them, so quickly click multiple times on the enemy raising the gates to defeat them. They'll attempt to open the gate several times, so pay attention to that side and listen to the audio cue for when they start trying.
Level 7 Achievements
"Crow Scarer"
Scare all the crows in Bleak Valley.
At the start of level seven, there will be five crows scattered around the level. Click on them until they fly away; do this until they all fly away and you'll unlock this achievement. You can find them here:

"Silver for Monsters"
Help Gerhart slay the tree monster.
At the start of the level, when you call in the first wave, a suspicious looking creature will pop out from behind one of the dead trees at the bottom-right corner of the map. Click on it and he'll be slain by the one known only as "Gerhart", unlocking this achievement.
Level 8 Achievements
"Gem Spiller"
Break all of the gem baskets.
There are three hanging gem baskets you'll need to break for this achievement. You'll also earn a little bit of gold for your troubles. They are located here:

"Breaker of Chains"
Save the four elves in the Carmine Mines.
You'll need to work on this achievement during most of the level. Every few levels, an elf will emerge from the center cave on the top of the map. You'll need to defeat the Taskmaster Abomination guarding them to free them.

Four in total will come out and all four need to be rescued. They are somewhat strong, so I recommend using both heroes at once to take them down. The elves, in turn, will take aim from the ledges and kill enemies for you.
Level 9 Achievements
"Unbound Victory"
Complete the Wicked Crossing without any Nightmares turning into Armored Nightmares.
This is an achievement that you'll have to pay close attention to throughout the whole level. On the southern path there is an arcane symbol on the ground near the front and another in the center-right of the level.

Nightmares spawn intermittently over the course of the level and will turn into "Armored Nightmares" upon reaching the symbol on their route. You have to kill all of them in the short distance between when they spawn and when they reach that symbol.

I highly recommend leaving a hero there to cut them off, as well as a barracks or other tower that spawns soldiers to block enemies from moving. You'll know the nightmares are coming when the symbol on the path glows red.
Level 10 Achievements
"Get the Party Started"
Solve the puzzle and summon the band.
At any point on this level, take a look at the upper-right corner and you'll see four stone statues. Click on them and they change position. Change them so they spell out "YMCA" to unlock this achievement and start a party.
Level 11 Achievements
"Starlight"
Help Fredo and Sammy escape from the Giant Spider.
During your playthrough, you should spot "Fredo", "Sammy" and a giant spider crawl out from the cave. Clicking on them will allow them to reveal a blinding light, letting them escape the spider's grasp and unlock this achievement.

"You Shall Not Cast!"
Save King Denas without letting Seeress Mydrias cast projections in Impossible Difficulty
After the end of the final wave, you'll face off against Seeress Mydrias and Vez'nan will appear on the opposite end of the map; you can click on him and cast spells during the final boss fight.

Cast "Soul Impact" every chance you get when he powers up and it will interrupt her projection spells. Do this until you defeat her to unlock this achievement.

Level 12 Achievements
"Weirder Things"
Help Ernie and Daston repel the Blinkers in the Blighted Farmlands.
Start the round; when you do, you'll see someone come out of the hut with a small pair of binoculars. Click on them to unlock this achievement.
Level 13 Achievements
"One Shot at Glory"
Eliminate 10 enemies with a single Darkray Tower beam.
On level 13, you'll see a broken temple with fragments floating in the air. If you select it, it will have the ability to repair it for 300 gold. Do it, and it will target enemy units with a red laser.

As a final show of force, it will fire one, continuous beam in a line, killing almost anything it touches before breaking apart.

You can rebuild it for 250 gold and repeat the process with it getting as cheap as 150 gold. On the "Iron" difficulty, they can become as cheap as 50 gold per rebuild and there are two instead of one tower on the map.

The achievement can be unlocked on any difficulty.
Level 14 Achievements
"Wobba-Lubba-Dub-Dub!"
Repair Nick and Marty's portal gun.
On level 14, before even starting the first wave, click on Nick and Marty in the upper-right corner and they'll enter a green portal, appearing in the bottom-left corner. Click them again and they'll appear at the right side of the map.

Do this once more to unlock this achievement.

"Crowd Control"
Complete the Corruption Valley without any Flesh Behemoth spawning from the pit.
This one can be rather tricky because the pathway to the pit from the start of the enemy's path is very, very short. You'll most likely want to position a guard tower on either side, then keep heroes close by or reinforcements at the ready.

They start (Glarelings), will focus the pit and start trying to enter after calling in round two, so pay close attention for the remianing time and see what is spawning on which side so you know what to focus on. Do note, that the Glarelings that spawn from Mindless Husks upon death DO NOT go for the pit (just the Glarelings that spawn initially).
Level 15 Achievements
"Take On Me"
Return Riff the Goblin to his home dimension.
On this level, you'll have to wait until the very end when you go up against Mydrias. She'll come down from the tower to engage. Once she does, a goblin with a broom will walk onto the balcony.

Click on him to unlock this achievement.

"Slippery Soldiers"
Complete The Eyesore Tower while preventing Mydrias from ensnaring your units.
This one is a little misleading, because the main waves you fight have ensnaring traps, as does the final fight with the boss, Mydrias.

From my experimenting, I was able to unlock this while only dodging the ensnare traps during the boss fight itself, not during waves 1-15. I had plenty of troops and even my heroes ensnared in the traps during that time and still unlocked it.

It appears that the ensnares during waves 1-15 don't affect the achievement, just the final boss round. So during the boss fight, when you see those red circles appear on the ground under your heroes, you have a few seconds to move them out of the way before all four runes inside light up, tripping the trap.

An easy way to do this is to have no ground units other than your two heroes so you don't have to split your attention too much during the boss fight.
Level 17 Achievements
"Tree Hugger"
Complete Misty Ruins with at least one Weirdwood standing.
This achievement can kind of go unnoticed. When you kill the Revenant Rangers and they turn into Specter upon death, or when Specters spawn normally during a wave, you need to kill them before they start attacking any of the three Weirdwoods that dot the map.

It takes a couple hits from them, but when enough damage is done, they turn into Deathwoods, small mini-bosses that can soak up a large amount of damage before eliminated. As long as one tree survives, you'll unlock this achievement.
Level 19 Achievements
"Rock Beats... Rock?"
Make the statue win against itself.
To do this one, you must play on either Heroic of Iron difficulty. This is because the boss shows up on the regular difficulty, making this achievement impossible to obtain.

Click on the statue's hands and it will play rock, paper, scissors against itself. Do so until one hand wins and one loses and the losing hand will crumble, unlocking this achievement.

"Rust In Peace"
Complete a stage without allowing any Animated Armor to respawn.
This one can be a little tricky. I recommend doing it on the Heroic difficulty, though you can do it on Iron as well. My setup involved putting towers all the way at the end of the map, then strategically working on killing the enemies around the Animated Armor enemies.

The armor takes a long time to despawn, so killing them close to the exit, then focusing further up the road to give the armor some space to despawn should allow you to unlock this achievement. My setup was like so:
Level 20 Achievements
"Saviour of the forest"
Win the stage without losing any Arborean flowers.
On level 20, you'll find two Arborean flowers, both of which you can summon three Arboreans to the field for 50 gold and they'll help defend against enemies. When encountered by Lizardshots, the Lizardshots will target them from long range with their slingshots.

Protect them during the whole level without either being destroyed to unlock this achievement. The flowers don't have much for health, but the Lizardshots seem to prioritize your heroes and summoned troops over the flowers, so as long as you run interference, you'll be fine.
Level 21 Achievements
"Smooth Oper-gator"
Help the friendly gator to start his boat.
On level 21, look at the bottom-right corner of the map. You'll see an alligator on a boat. Click on him once to try starting it, then again to get it going.

On the second pull, the engine will start and unlock this achievement.
Level 22 Achievements
"Hail to the K, baby!"
Find the crocodile king.
At the start of the level, check the bottom-right corner and you'll see a familiar cape and crown on the ground. Click on it and its owner will emerge.

Click on it again and watch them fly up, up and away!
Level 23 Achievements
"Mechanical Burnout"
Overfeed the machine in the Darksteel Gates.
On level 23, check the bottom-right corner for a lil' grabby-machine (that's what they call them, right?) and click on him.
He'll consume a tasty wooden log. Do this until he eats too much.

You'll know you did when the achievement unlocks. Perhaps he should lay off the logs for a while...

Level 24 Achievements
"Factory Strike"
Complete Frantic Assembly without letting Grymbeard activate the conveyor belt.
For this, you'll need to focus on the platform to the left of the map. Grymbeard comes out and fiddles with some of the controls for a bit.

While he is doing that, you'll need to constantly interrupt him until he flees back down the elevator. I recommend having two sets of call-ins for warriors to keep them stacked, preventing him from triggering the conveyor belt.

I went with the standard infantry call-ins and then the Bone Drake call-ins that come with Bonehart. That was enough to keep him busy until he left. You'll have to interrupt him several times during the level.
Level 25 Achievements
"Kept You Waiting, Huh?"
Find the sneaky soldier in the Colossal Core.
Right when you enter this level, after the minor cutscene, click a few times on the box at the top of the platform to have a very familiar soldier pop out.

"Domo Arigato"
Get 20 enemies crushed by the giant fist in the Colossal Core.
During the fight, Grymbeard will activate a giant mechanical fist, which will line up with either your heroes or call-in troops and crush everything (enemies included) under the weight of it.

You won't see it until you're a ways into the level, so just keep an eye out.

Everything caught in the strike will die instantly (heroes included). I recommend baiting it with either, then once it appears, move your heroes quickly out of its strike zone.

Crush 20 enemies in total to unlock this achievement. Do note that this can be done over the course of several playthroughs; you do not need to get it in a single run.
Level 26 Achievements
"The Gift of Life"
Free the cloning experiment in the Replication Chamber.
There are several lines of green storage tubes housing various clones. Click on the one that looks suspiciously Pokemon-shaped to unlock this achievement.
Level 27 Achievements
"Shut Your Mouth!"
Complete Dominion Dome while keeping Grymbeard from setting your towers on fire.
About halfway through this level, Grymbeard will take control of a mechanical head that spits fire vertically. You'll see it shift left or right; once it does, frantically click on the head multiple times to prevent it from spewing fire and lighting your towers up.

He only does this a few times, so you'll need to prevent him from doing it every time to unlock this achievement.

"Disturbing the Peace"
Interrupt the workers' lunch break in the Dominion Dome.
This achievement is only obtainable in either Heroic or Iron difficulty. If you do it on the standard difficulty, you'll have to face off against Grymbeard. On Heroic or Iron, you do not; instead, there is a work crew of three people on a girder.

Click on it to knock them all off, unlocking this achievement.
Level 28 Achievements
"Unfriendly Neighbor."
Find the secrets of the mysterious spider person.
At the start of the level, look to the upper-right corner to see an enemy handing precariously from a spider's silk. Click on them several times to unlock this achievement.
Level 29 Achievements
"A Cocoon of Surprises"
Help Fredo escape.
At the beginning of the level, click a few times on the webbed up Fredo shown below to free him and unlock this achievement.
Level 30 Achievements
"Lucus the Spider."
Play with Lucus until he’s happy.
Lucas can be found hiding in on the left-side of the screen. He may initially look fearsome, but once he pops out he'll blow you a kiss and scurry away.

Spiders are friend, not foe!
Level 31 Achievement
"Celestial Watery Grave"
Kill 14 enemies with one use of the fountain in Celestial Monkey Forest.
This is best done on Iron difficulty. The fountain is available from the start, but do not use it. Save it! Make sure to only build towers in the back of the map to avoid killing the Fire Foxes prematurely.

There is a very specific group of Fire Foxes (about 16 in total) as shown below that you need to wait for. When they get in range of the fountain, use it and it'll kill the whole group and unlock the achievement.
Level 33 Achievements
"Wealth and Prosperity"
Collect 8 Hongbaos on Tempest Island.
During this level, watch the left side of the water, just past the fishing line. Around this area, you'll periodically see red Hongbaos floating in the water. You need to find and click on eight of them before finishing the level.

More than eight appear, so you have a chance to miss some if you get distracted, but try to get them as early as possible so you can focus on the later, harder waves at the end.
