This mod changes the visual detection range

This mod changes the visual detection of boats by enemies to be realistic, as well as the detection of enemies by boats, taking into account game balance.
It also takes into account all other parameters related to visual detection.
All visual detection distances are given for good weather conditions, day and night.
The mod will be updated as remaining issues are resolved...

Unfortunately, this mod is not compatible with saves, you need to start a new campaign.

List of changes:

1. Enemy behavior is the same for all difficulty levels.
2. Boat detection (side, bow, pose) by military personnel during the day, at night without a moon, and at night with a moon - each unit has its own range; there are 21 military units in the game.
The average value during the day is about 10,000 m, the visibility of the boat varies depending on the angle to the enemy.
The average value during the аt night, without a moon is about 300 m, the visibility of the boat varies depending on the angle to the enemy.
3. Boat detection (side, bow, pose) by traders during the day, at night without a moon, and at night with a moon - each unit has its own range; there are 14 traders in the game.
The average value during the day is about 9,000 m, the visibility of the boat varies depending on the angle to the enemy.
The average value during the аt night, without a moon is about 250 m, the visibility of the boat varies depending on the angle to the enemy.
4. Boat detection (side, bow, pose) by aircraft - each unit has its own range; there are 6 aircraft in the game.
The average value during the day is about 13,000 m, the visibility of the boat varies depending on the angle to the enemy.

Sorry, I don't have the wind speed data, I'll try to replicate it if it happens again but it was during

September - Around 10AM
Very thick fog, relatively calm waters so I guess the wind wasn't too strong.
I could only see the smoke stacks at the edges of the periscope due to a graphical bug but I could not see the ship itself through the fog, but I'd say It was around 2,000 m from the ship that detected me.

Unfortunately, it's not possible to create all possible weather conditions through the command line. Also, the submarine detection parameter in bad weather is linked to the submarine detection parameter when the enemy is in search mode.

I need detailed information about fog for additional mod customization:
- Day or night?
- What is the wind speed?
- At what distance was the submarine detected?

Tested it. Amazing mod.
Although, I'm being detected way too early in fog, I can't even see them but they can see me.

Блин @ [1 UF] , жаль что новую компанию качать нужно ,... а так интересный мод.

К сожалению так сделана игра и это зависит от файлов, в которые внесены изменения.

BTW: will this mod be compatible to the Additional Ship and Aircraft mods by Link?

I looked at the Link mod. Both mods should be compatible.
