Ironically, this was something that was actually performed in history. I forgot the names, but a man lead his army down into a ravine with while his enemies stood on top surrounding them screaming and chanting at the top of their lungs. The commander, realizing his army was surround, had his soldiers perform hardcore exercises. The enemy were so baffled and frightened at the idea that this army appeared so fearless that they were doing normal morning exercises even while completely surrounded, they turned and fell back.
