Complete Unmarked Map
Here is the fully explored map with no extra marks.

Some room transitions change after certain actions, so it may differ slightly from your map.
The starting area that you spawn in at the start of the game doesn't show up after you get to My House.

Full Map
Here is the full map marked with the locations of treasures, spells, merchants, barriers, etc., split in half because the whole image is too phat (whole image available in resources).

West Side

East Side

Map Notes
  • Grey lines are walls/floors.
  • Yellow icons are indicate tools/spells are required, while fully colored icons indicate specific key items are required.
  • My marks are not exhaustive. Many pickaxe-breakable walls, puzzle solutions, walls/floors are not included. I specifically tried to mark things that didn't seem obvious or easy to solve.
    • That same idea applies to collectibles marked with tool requirements; in areas accessible without collecting a tool/spell (e.g. you can get to Dragon's Peak before getting MiniDra) mark all collectibles that require said tool.
    • In areas that are not accessible without a tool/spell (e.g. a pickaxe mark in Ancient Ruin Tower), collectibles marked by said tool/spell are marked that way because the solution didn't seem immediately obvious.
  • I tried to make the map understandable without much explanation. If you have any questions, please ask in the comments below.
  • Some chests drop can drop equipment items, xp bags, or nothing. This seems to be rng based (items won't drop twice if you already have them) and I only noticed near the end of my second playthrough while making the map. So, some equipment chests/locations may not drop for you and some chests/enemies may drop items for you that didn't drop for me. All progression items are guaranteed drops.
Individual Areas
Following are cut maps for individual areas/sets of areas with all collectibles, merchants, etc. notated.
*Note The First Forest (the map you spawn in at the start of the game and never go back to) has one Gold chest.

Bosses are bolded.
Quests, progression items, tools, and spells are underlined.
Merchants and puzzles are italicized.

    3. Place another explosive barrel at the bottom of the long vertical passage at the bottom right side of the room.

    4. Pull the lever and stand on the explosive barrel you placed at the right side of the room. This will take you to the top of the passage where you can pull a lever that will spawn another barrel and open the wall to the middle room.
    5. Place the newly spawned barrel by the right wall of the middle room, pull the lever and stand on it. This will raise the water to the top of the room where you can pull a lever that will spawn two more chests in the middle room.

    6. Open all the chests.

  • Ring of Death
  • Blue Diamond: Drops from Chimaera enemy.
  • Puz6:
This puzzle requires the Mine item.
    1. Place a mine on the switch. Defeating the enemies will ensure the mine does not explode early.
    2. Jump onto the hook.
    3. In the chest next to the Fox fur there is a chest that drops an item. If you already have the item, the chest doesn't drop anything. This happened to me, so I don't know what item this chest drops.
  • Puz10:
    1. Use the right see-saw and the disappearing-reappearing platforms to get the explosive barrels at the top right of the room.

    2. Put an explosive barrel on the left side of the left see-saw.

Getting the explosive barrel to hit the ceiling that the chest is on is very awkward. This best way I've found to to this is by placing one explosive barrel on the ground in front of the see-saw so that it hold the second barrel that's on the see-saw. Then, I stand to the right of the barrel on the see-saw, cast meteor, and quickly grab the second barrel and hold left when the meteor hits the see-saw.

  • Boss: Guardian
  • Orb of Wind
  • Snowman tool
  • Card Key
  • Ice Wave spell
  • Card KeyB
  • Puz16:
The goal is to put a block onto each switch. The only tricky part is to make sure you don't leave any blocks inaccessible.
    1. Get around to the left side of the middle right block and push it to the right once.
    2. Push the bottom right under the one block opening to it's right.

    3. Move the top right block onto one of the switches. There should not be any inaccessible blocks now.

    4. Move the rest of the blocks onto the rest of the switches.
    5. Pull the lever to activate elevator.
  • Puz17:
The only way I've found to complete this puzzle is to use the snowman.
    1. Spawn the snowman and throw it down onto the switch from the ledge. The goal is to get it to go as close to the right ledge as possible without hitting it.

    2. Quickly run to the switch and activate it before the snowman despawns.
  • Puz18:
The goal of this puzzle is to get the light beam into the receptacle at the left side of the room. The light beam can be a bit buggy, so if it's not shooting into the receptacle with the right mirror angles, try rotating some of the mirrors all the way around. The physics of the light beam don't follow real life physics of light beams and mirrors, so the solution doesn't make real world sense. From top to bottom, right to left, face the mirrors like so:
    1. Up-left
    2. Down
    3. Up-left
    4. Down-left
    5. Right
    6. Right

  • Puz19:
Ignoring the first orb that gets you into the maze, there are six orbs laid out in a 3x2 pattern. I am naming the orbs as follows:
      A B E C D F
C-1 means hit Orb C once, F-2 means hit orb F twice, etc. With that, here are the steps to complete the puzzle.
    1. Hit 1st orb 3 times to enter the maze.
    2. C-1; This opens the path to orb B.
    3. B-3; This opens the path to orb D, you don't ever need to hit orb B anymore.
    4. D-3; This opens the first half of the top route to the bottom right chest.
    5. C-1; This opens the second half of the top route to the bottom right chest.
    6. Grab the bottom right chest.
    7. D-3; This opens the path to orb A.
    8. A-1; This opens the second half of the path to orb F.
    9. D-1; This opens the first half of the path to orb F.
    10. F-2; This opens the last quarter of the route to the exit.
    11. C-1; This opens the route to orb E.
    12. E-3; This opens the third quarter of route to the exit.
    13. C-2; This opens the second quarter of route to the exit.
    14. D-1; This opens the first quarter of route to the exit.
    15. Grab the last two chests and leave.
I also created a video tutorial for this puzzle, which can be found here: https://youtu.be/xMC6Evgz8CQ

Achievements
I can do it if I try!
You have defeated a boss for the first time!!
Defeat the first boss.

Novice Mage
You have reached Level 10!
Reach level 10. This should happen naturally as you play.

New Friend
Befriended a new companion!
Get MiniDra after defeating the Evil Dragon boss. This is required to progress and complete the game.

Magic Master
You have reached Master Level!
Level up a spell to level 10. This will probably happen naturally as you play. For efficient skill leveling, see Spell Leveling section below.

Adept Mage
You have reached Level 20!
Reach level 20. This should happen naturally as you play.

Richroid
Saved up 100,000G!
Hold at least 100,000 Gold at one time. This should happen naturally as you play. Quick ways to farm money include farming the Goat Man (see Spell Leveling section) or the Golden Mimic rare spawn (see Cat Lover achievement).

Respect for the Elderly
Rescued Grandma!
Defeat the miniboss in Amir Region and release Granny Cheryl from the cage.

Expert Mage
You have reached level 30!
Reach level 30. This should happen naturally as you play.

Dressup!
You changed your outfit for the first time!
Acquire an outfit and equip it. Outfits are bought at Myao-chan's TailorShop for 100,000 Gold + a specific item. There are four outfits you can buy and one you get for beating the game. See the Areas sections for Myao-chan's TailorShop location, item requirements, and item locations.

Cat Lover
No bad person can love cats.
Complete the Devoured Cat's Eye Gem quest. To do so, you need to turn in the Cat's Eye item, which is a drop from the Golden Mimic enemy.

This is the most difficult achievement to complete because you need to find and defeat a rare enemy spawn, probably multiple times. The enemy in question is the Golden Mimic enemy, which spawns in a few places in Labyrinth of Trials. It can spawn in the two rooms to the right of Labyrinth of Trials 1 warp, so I recommend farming it there.

Rare enemy spawns are refreshed after saving & loading or encountering another rare enemy spawn.
So, the strategy is:
  1. Save in Labyrinth of Trials 1 warp room.
  2. Check the two rooms to the right. You don't need to bother killing the enemies unless it spawns.
  3. If it doesn't spawn, reload the save and repeat step 2.
  4. If it does spawn, use the basic fireball spell to hit it as many times as possible. Make sure you don't get pushed out of the room.
It took me multiple kills for it to drop the Cat's Eye item. If it disappears without dropping the item, just save again and repeat the process. It should drop the item eventually.

Game Clear
Complete the game.
Obtain your well deserved, stylishly large witch hat.
Spell Leveling
Only one spell needs to be maxed out for an achievement. Maxing out all the spells is not required for any achievements or beating the game. If you want to max out all your spells anyway, here are some methods.

Spell List
There are 21 spells in the game.
  1. Fire Ball
  2. Ice Breath
  3. Lightning
  4. Fire Wall
  5. Ice Ball
  6. Summon MiniDra
  7. Wind Scythe
  8. Chain lightning
  9. Leaves Shield
  10. Bubble Shield
  11. Silence
  12. Recall
  13. Meteor
  14. Life Exchange
  15. Ice Wave
  16. Ice Pillar
  17. Armor Break
  18. Shine arrow
  19. Charm
  20. Fire Blast
  21. Summon MiniPixie

How spells gain xp
The spells level up in three main ways:
  1. From killing enemies.
All offensive spells get xp this way.
These spells are: Fire Ball, Ice Breath, Lightning, Fire Wall, Ice Ball, Wind Scythe, Chain lightning, Meteor, Ice Wave, Ice Pillar, Shine arrow, and Fire Blast.
  2. On successful cast.
These spells get xp by successfully casting the spell, e.g. successfully inflicting Silence on an enemy.
These spells are: Silence, Recall, Life Exchange, Armor Break, and Charm.
  3. Conditionally.
Some spells only get xp upon fulfilling specific conditions.
These spells are: Summon MiniDra, Leaves Shield, Bubble Shield, and Summon MiniPixie.

Leveling Strategies
Type 1 spells: From killing enemies
The amount of xp these spells get seems to be dependent upon how much xp the enemy gives. Bosses give a huge boost to spells.
The fastest way to level up these spells is to farm the Goat Man.

He's found here in the Labyrinth of Trials.

I recommend using MiniPixie and a set of three spells; the spell to level up, Ice Breath, and Armor Break. Apply Armor Break, weaken the Goat Man with Ice Breath (hitting frozen enemies with other spells can do extra damage), and get the kill with the spell you want to level up.

Type 2 spells: On successful cast
These spells are simple to level up.

Silence:
This spell only seems to work on non-boss spell caster enemies. The effect is not guaranteed, but is common enough to be quick to farm.
I recommend using this enemy to quickly max out this spell.

He is found here in Desert Scorpion.

Recall:
This spell is always successful. Just cast it a bunch of times if you want to max it out early, otherwise you'll probably max it out while playing the game normally.

Life Exchange:
This spell must actually restore mana (cannot be full) to get xp.
Cast a costly spell that doesn't require a target, like Fire Wall or a shield spell, cast Life Exchange, then interact with a save point.

Armor Break:
Not all enemies can be afflicted with Armor Break. If you use the Goat Man method to level up your offensive spells, then you should max out this spell before all your other offensive spells.

Charm:
I've only found three enemies that Charm works on: The Bone Dragon, The Bone Dinosaur, and the Big Crab.
This spell is always successful against those enemies, but won't work if they've been hit first (MiniDra often hits them before you can cast Charm).
The Bone Dragon in Dragon's peak mid slope is the easiest place to farm this spell.

Type 3 spells: Conditional
These spells are the most troublesome to level up and most can't be explicitly farmed.

Summon MiniDra:
MiniDra gets xp by successfully killing enemies while summoned. One of his attacks must land the killing blow, and none of your other offensive spells will get xp when this happens.
This gets easier as you teach MiniDra the spells from the Dragon Tamer merchant in East Village since MiniDra attacks much more frequently.
I recommend just having MiniDra active at all times until you MiniPixie. If he isn't maxed out by then, you can farm xp for him with the Goat Man.

Leaves Shield:
This spell gets xp when successfully cast, with some caveats. Just casting the spell over and over won't get xp. There seems to be a cooldown timer that must elapse before the spell can get xp. Additionally, this spell takes an absurd amount of "successful" casts to max out.

The shield will slowly dissolve by itself without absorbing bullets. The time it takes to dissolve seems to line up with the cooldown timer, so one method to level up this spell is to just cast it frequently, and when you notice that it has dissolved, cast it again and wait for it to dissolve again. This method works, but is quite slow and you may complete the game before you max out the spell.

The fastest way I've found to level up this spell is to intentionally break the shield with enemy projectiles. This seems to bypass the cooldown timer, allowing the spell to get xp when cast every time after it's broken. The two best enemies to use to intentionally break the shield are the Dryad and Flied Shrimp bosses. Both of these bosses have a move where they spray many small yellow bullets.

Dryad is better than Flied Shrimp because she doesn't do nearly as much damage as Flied Shrimp. Additionally, she summons mini versions of herself that shoot an occasional yellow bullet, and those can also be used to intentionally break the shield.

If you've already defeated both of those bosses, then you can use normal enemies like any of the archer enemies or the arrow wall traps. They attack much slower than Dryad/Flied Shrimp, but this is still faster than waiting for the cooldown timer.

Bubble Shield:
This spell gets xp similarly to Leaves Shield. However, there is no way to bypass the cooldown timer. To make matters worse, the timer is shared with Leaves Shield.

You will need to just cast the spell and wait for it to dissolve on its own, then recast it to level it up. Thankfully, it doesn't take nearly as much xp to max out as Leaves Shield does. So, if you use this method as soon as you get the spell, you should be able to max it out before you beat the game.

Summon MiniPixie:
This spell gets xp similarly to MiniDra, but MiniPixie heals you instead of attacking enemies.

Her heals must actually restore HP/MP (cannot be full when receiving the heal) in order to get xp. Additionally, there seems to be a cooldown between her heals. As such, there is no explicit way to farm xp for this spell that I've found. If you keep her active as soon as you get the spell (check Granny Cheryl occasionally), you should be able to max her out before you finish the game.

One trick I've noticed is that throwing a landmine will usually proc a heal. However, once you get a large amount of total MP, around 150 and more, the cost isn't enough to proc a heal.
Enemy Drops and Rare Enemy Spawns
Enemy Equipment Drops
Enemies can rarely drop equipment items if you don't already own them. I'm not sure if the drops are location dependent, but I've included location where I remembered to. Here are some drops that I've encountered.

  • The Skeleton Pirate enemy can drop Dance's Clothes.
  • The Lamia enemy in Dragon's Peak can drop a Dance's Clothes.
  • The Goblin Mage enemy can drop a Dread robe.
  • The Ghost enemy in Dragon's Peak can drop a Dread Robe.
  • The Goblin Archer enemy in Maze of Dead can drop Ring of Viper.
  • The Spider enemy in Maze of Dead can drop a Ring of Viper.
  • The Merman enemy in Hidden Cave can drop a Ring of Speed.
  • The Flower/Plant enemy in Dragon's Peak can drop a Magical Ring.
  • The Bomb Goblin enemy in Amir Region can drop a Green Robe.
  • The Orc Archer enemy in Amir Region can drop a MirageDress.
  • The Rock Golem enemy that spawns from "littering" in the Midora Region waterfall room can drop an Enchanted Dress.
  • The Skeleton Summoner enemy in Ancient Ruin Tower can drop an Enchanted Dress.
  • The Lamia enemy in Labyrinth of Trials can drop an Iris Ring.

Rare Enemy Spawns
This game has a few rare enemies that may spawn in specific areas. Some rare enemies drop items. Here are some areas that I've encountered rare enemies. This is not an exhaustive list, just some places that I've found rare enemies.

Maid Enemy
This enemy drops the Tattered Maid Outfit, which is used to get the Maid Outfit from Myao-chan's TailorShop.

If you encounter the Maid enemy here, she will probably kill you because she is a very high level enemy relative to the area.

Golden Mimic Enemy
This enemy drops the Cat's Eye item, which is needed for the Devoured Cat's Eye Gem quest.

Goblin Boss Enemy
This enemy doesn't seem to drop anything.
Hat
Thanks to the devs for making this fun game.

I hope this small guide has been helpful.

You may now appreciate your new, stylishly large witch hat.
