长沙磁浮快线 Changsha Maglev Express

Changsha Metro Line S2, originally named "Changsha Maglev Express", is the third operational rail transit line in Changsha, Hunan Province, China. It is the country's first medium-low speed maglev commercial demonstration line with completely independent intellectual property rights, featuring autonomous design, construction, and manufacturing. The construction of the line began on May 16, 2014, and it commenced operations on May 6, 2016 (from Maglev High-Speed Rail Station to Maglev Airport Station). The maglev trains, manufactured by CRRC Zhuzhou Locomotive Co., Ltd., operate in a 3-car medium-low speed maglev formation. Each train is approximately 48 meters long, with individual cars measuring about 15 meters in length, 2.8 meters in width, and 3.7 meters in height. The train has a passenger capacity of around 363 people.
