Special thanks to Ternox. “May Chernobog smile on your contribution to the theft of time, of which we all only have so little.” –AQ

This guide may have spoilers redacted whenever possible, mostly. Some exploits/bugs that may eventually be patched are included within. Overall these 210 238 achievements aren’t difficult to obtain while playing are sometimes difficult to obtain, mostly, just some are extra time consuming and/or depending on RNG if completed as likely intended. The game is a marathon, not a sprint, so even with some short cuts you will get your money-to-hours played worth out of it. Use as much or as little as the advice herein for your own satisfaction.
Recommended Early (to build starting capital for other achievements):
• Initial Dream Car - Buy the first car

You can either have a vehicle purchased to select the “Go Out” action during the weekends to get to Pachinko or wait around for one of your Contact’s phone calls to invite you to hang out.

• Pachinko Powerball 1 - Collect more than 200 balls in Pachinko
• Pachinko Powerball 2 - Collect more than 500 balls in Pachinko
• Pachinko Powerball 3 - Collect more than 1000 balls in Pachinko
• Golden Gutter 1 - Get 100 balls or more in one hit in Pachinko
• Golden Gutter 2 - Get 250 balls or more in one hit in Pachinko
• Golden Gutter 3 - Get 500 balls or more in one hit in Pachinko

There is a pachinko exploit documented in Lacquer Head’s “A Video Explaining The Pachinko Exploit” https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3554927524 and in mivaz’s “how to gain money” https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3552429232
The trick is there are certain angles that, when ball spamming continuously, will inevitably create moments where multipliers appear and eventually a stray ball will land. They recommend the dial be set just a single pixel tap to the left, but I was able to recreate it a few ways. Having as many balls in play stacks the odds that a large enough multiplier will eventually appear and eventually be hit. This can be further exploited through idling, so long as the balls keep bouncing.

It can fail to work some of the time and success hinges on a relatively equal spread of hits and early luck. Once cresting 100 to 150 balls the risk of running out is slim. It wouldn’t hurt to save up more than needed to purchase another 50 balls should you just get a bad streak.

• White Balls – Buy 50 for ¥250k, Sell 625 for ¥2.5M
• Orange Balls – Buy 50 for ¥2.5M, Sell 596 for ~¥25M
• Yellow Balls – Buy 50 for ¥25M, Sell 556 for ~¥250M
• Pink Balls – Buy 50 for ¥250M, Sell really whenever you wish. 209 is ~¥1B.

It’s probable you’ll knock out all six achievements just doing this within minutes, but idle long enough and it will happen. It is a lot of luck. My extra test runs for this guide achieved all six achievements before reaching the yellow ball tier. Winnings don’t appear to be treated as income or taxed, so that’s nice.

• Track Triumph - Win the horse race

Another sort of exploit documented in Bird of Summer’s “On the Horse”
https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3551142274
The mechanics behind which horse will win are straight forward and the stated payouts provide the clues. Below are the recommended best bets and most often it’s going to either be Clear Sky or Shadow.
  • Suzuka Flora with 4.0x-5.0x payout
  • Clear Sky with 1.7x-1.9x payout
  • Shadow with 1.8x-2.0x payout
I recommend this early because there’s no limit for your wager (beyond cash on hand) and savescuming this is far less tedious than returning to the Pachinko exploit to make money; even if you end up having to retry in a week’s game time. Don’t max out your bet completely though. For the moments between your bet and the race's finish the game recognizes you’re broke and will take a point off your Financial Success stat. Winnings here are treated as income and are taxed.
Having more money than you know what to do with:
• Cash Catcher 1 - Accumulate ¥1,000,000 on my account
• Cash Catcher 2 - Accumulate ¥10,000,000 on my account
• Cash Catcher 3 - Accumulate ¥100,000,000 on my account
• Dragon's Hoard 1 - Accumulate fortune worth ¥10,000,000
• Dragon's Hoard 2 - Accumulate fortune worth ¥100,000,000
• Dragon's Hoard 3 - Accumulate fortune worth ¥1,000,000,000

One way to obtain these is incrementally through gameplay progression. Starting with swing trades on speculation in securities, then some long term position holds, building a portfolio with dividends in mind, dabbling in innovation investments and (when you can afford it) real estate, all the while learning techniques to get the most out of the information you have while managing your own needs and the financial impact of random events.

Short selling is locked behind achieving Financial Success 9, but SeekerFate’s “Short Selling Guide” is still useful in understanding the overhead associated with the strategy to make your short sells profitable. https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3008782829 The MLG Cat’s “How to win by blatant insider trading” is from an earlier version where market manipulation was overpowered, but even nerfed within this version it’s still a viable option. The only new parts are your influence on actions is tied to your reputation stats and there’s a cooldown icon for when you may alert regulators. https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3006438076
Or you leveraged the exploits from the prior achievements to leapfrog these milestones altogether.

A pure money increasing exploit was pointed out by READTHEE’s “Dividend exploit broke this game for me.” https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/app/1539140/discussions/0/598536531263849177/

That’s just waiting until “income day” and pressing F5 to quicksave and after it is finished paying out your dividends, pressing F9 to reload. It will double pay you and can be repeated over and over with another F5, F9 cycle to stack more profit.
Money for nothin' and your chicks for free
• Kind Heart 1 - Donate ¥10M in total to charity
• Kind Heart 2 - Donate ¥500M in total to charity
• Kind Heart 3 - Donate ¥10B in total to charity
• Charity Champion 1 - Reach the reputation level of philanthropy - 10
• Charity Champion 2 - Reach the reputation level of philanthropy - 25
• Charity Champion 3 - Reach the reputation level of philanthropy - 50

Once you have enough money to burn, this is an easy one. You visit the bank on a weekday, you select donate to charity, and you select the amount to donate. For some reason, Amy (your naturist inclined bubble bath secretary) has a soft spot for charity.

Each level of Philanthropy gains you perks.
  • Level 1: Donations at the temple decrease stress and enhance happiness
  • Level 2: Friendship with Amy grows faster during dates. (I haven’t seen this work, but maybe it is a couple more +1 points)
  • Level 3: Salary demands within your company are reduced by 20%
  • Level 4: The friendship with Amy grows stronger when we talk (when you talk via the Advisor tab and she’s receptive it pops a +2 instead of a +1, very minimal boost)
  • Level 5: Reductions in public reputation are lessened by 1 point; a drop of -1 to reputation has no effect at all.
Some of those are more useful than others, but by the time you have used either strategy to obtain your ¥10B to throw at this you’ve already surmounted the obstacles these perks seem like they were meant to help you overcome.
Stonks for Stonking
(does not apply to company you created)

• Solid portfolio 1 - Have 10000 shares of any companies in your portfolio
• Solid portfolio 2 - Have 100000 shares of any companies in your portfolio

• Favorite company 1 - Own 5% of shares in any company
• Favorite company 2 - Own 20% of shares in any company
• Favorite company 3 - Own 50% of shares in any company
• Stonks! 1 - Receive dividends in the amount of ¥300,000 from one company
• Stonks! 2 - Receive dividends in the amount of ¥750,000 from one company
• Stonks! 3 - Receive dividends in the amount of ¥3,000,000 from one company
• Money makes money 1 - Receive dividends from various companies totaling ¥100M
• Money makes money 2 - Receive dividends from various companies totaling ¥1,000M
• Money makes money 3 - Receive dividends from various companies totaling ¥10B

• Profit Prodigy 3 Get more ¥50,000,000 net profit per month
• Monopolist - Hold a controlling stake in every company on the market

So this is ostensibly the game. Capital for the capital god, stonks for the stonk throne!

Like I shared previously, it was probably intended that you incrementally work through swing trading, to position holding, to portfolio building, to the rest of the game mechanics. If you blew past those stop signs then you can just fill up on early game cheap stock and command a dominant lead. Buy low, sell high, or just hold. The "Stonks" and “Money makes money” ones based on dividends may take a while because during the early game most companies aren’t at the point where they’re paying out that much per share.

It’s really your prerogative how much stock beyond >50% you want to hold. Just know that time advances when making a large purchase or large sale, which is a bit annoying. Once you have reputation stats, your purchases themselves will swing the value of stock. It may be cheaper to purchase stock in smaller increments or over longer periods of time. An arrow will appear beside the stock within the Exchange to indicate regulators are possibly watching you for market manipulation (pump & dump). If you gain revenue from dumping stock you recently pumped (via a surge of transactions), they may start investigating.

If you hold enough shares you’ll get an invite to stockholder meetings. If you hold more than that and/or have a high enough reputation with the company, you’ll get invited to the Board of Directors (of which you may sit on as many as you want). Being a Board Member grants you a salary for no real obligation. You also get internal company information not released to the public when you are on that company's screen (via clicking on them in the Exchange; same page as their CEO & Board Members).

By doing these you may knock out some other achievements without trying.
Fast cars, fast money!
• Car Enthusiast 1 - Own 5 cars
• Car Enthusiast 2 - Own 20 cars
• Car Enthusiast 3 - Own 50 cars

When you have enough money, this is an easy achievement to get nearly all at once. Buy whichever vehicles until you have 50 and then sell the ones you don’t intend to keep.

A more methodical way to achieve this, or strategy for after you have achieved it, is to focus exclusively on 5 star comfort vehicles because riding in those contributes to your comfort score. Some vehicles nearly 5 stars can be repaired up to 5 stars if they just happen to not be entirely new/perfect, but eventually you will amass enough top cars where its not an issue.

Keeping your vehicle repaired does seem to be important in avoiding car accidents, so if you have the money then every few times out it’s worth paying the repair fee. Once money doesn’t really matter, keeping these topped off in the 90s isn’t an issue. It seems like the car condition doesn’t deplete when someone invites you to hang out, as in you are riding in their car.

Totaling your car isn’t entirely tied to its listed condition though. High condition cars still get into accidents and can be totaled. Via savescuming I’ve noticed crashes were final destination style meant to happen regardless if I even switched out cars with higher conditions. If you know it will happen you can savescum and swap to a cheap car or just live with it and keep stockpiling 5 star cars.

Death finds a way.
Location Location Location!
• Real Estate King 1 - Own 5 real estate properties
• I Can Afford It - Purchase 10 properties in the same day
• Real Estate King 2 - Own 20 real estate properties
• Real Estate King 3 - Own 50 real estate properties
• The essence of a bubble 1 - Receive monthly rental income of ¥500,000
• The essence of a bubble 2 - Receive monthly rental income of ¥10M
• The essence of a bubble 3 - Receive monthly rental income of ¥50M

These are more for when you have too much money; either incrementally or all at once from your jackpot winnings.

You start off unable to access certain regions based on your overall reputation and as it grows the rest unlock in a sequence.

Shadow > Bronze > Silver > Gold > Emperor's

There’s Residential and Commercial. You’ll want to select “Move In” to whatever Residential has 5 star comfort ratings. While the game provides you a detailed breakdown of what the real estate coding represents (i.e. region, the number and configuration of rooms), it doesn’t seem to matter as much to you as the comfort rating.

In my runs I just mass purchased everything available, but I understand that’s not a wise approach. If you were to approach this efficiently you’d select buildings with a good purchase price-to-rent ratio. The rental price can and does change though and can be raised via modernization & investment options. Further along you unlock benefits of real estate tips where hot deals (below market value sales) are showcased. They can still be a mixed bag. Amy will sometimes pop up to tell you that you got the place so cheap because it’s in a bad neighborhood or it’s haunted, all impacting what you were told the rent would be.

Either way, real estate is a long term strategy and is not especially profitable until you’re able to amass a lot of it. Property taxes are a thing, but they don't swing as much as income tax.
(More to Come)
I'm still working on the guide and will be returning to update it.

So as not to leave some of you hanging with some of the harder achievements;

  • Fish Collector 3 - Collect 100% of the fish collection: You just have to brute force this one. The special bait isn't required to complete it though. You'll get most of the collection by accident just fishing. You can knock out the rest by checking the fishing collection for which time of year the fish appear and doing your best to hook that silhouette. It's not difficult, just tedious. Even the legendary unrelenting fish can be caught without tricks. Hooking fish while they are physically closer to your figure does make reeling in the difficult ones easier.

  • Eagle Eye 3 - Score 50 points in a single game: I was able to do this once by luck and haven't been able to reproduce those results. The golf mini-game is my second worst and most of the time I get stuck overshooting and undershooting within a few pixels of the hole. My successful run was just incrementally increasing the swing with each successful +5 hole. Once the furthest shot is made the hole resets to the starting position. I just got a lucky streak of +5's.

  • Money Magnate 3 - Reach the reputation level of financial success - 50: Completing milestones seems to be the best way to get this to competition. It was among the last profile stats I maxed out and it's just because turning a monthly profit isn't apparently how it's obtained.
I haven't 100%ed this yet, I'm sitting at 79%.

I am dreading karaoke. I suck at Guitar Hero.
