You shouldn’t get banned for these kinds of mods since it’s just skins and textures which are all client side, as long as you don’t download anything that alters the actual games mechanics or shit like cheats you should be A-Okay

Installing this on steamdeck should be pretty much the same as installing on windows, you need to find the .steam folder in the Home directory, then steam, then the rest of the filepath should be the same as normal. At least, that's how it is on my Linux desktop but I don't know if Steamdeck filepath is different somehow. Also you might need to look up how to view dotfiles on steamdeck, idk if they're hidden by default or not.
