DESCRIPTION
Adds the ability to Grab, Drop and Throw world objects such as Guns, Bodies, Gas Canisters, Boxes and pretty much anything else that is not tied down.

USAGE
KEYBOARD
RMB [Hold]
Attempt to pickup and hold a movable object the player is aiming at.
RMB [Release]
Drop a held object
LMB [Click]
Soft throw the object being held
LMB [Hold]
Power up throw force
LMB [Release]
Throw object with built up force
Scroll Wheel
Increase/Decrease distance from player
Q + Scroll
Increase/Decrease Z-axis rotation
E + Scroll
Increase/Decrease Y-axis rotation
R + Scroll
Increase/Decrease X-axis rotation
  • RMB: Right Mouse Button
  • LMB: Left Mouse Button

CONFIGURABLE OPTIONS
The following options are exposed for user customization in the user's Engine.ini file.

PickupRange
How far (in cm) the player can reach when initially grabbing an object.
iThrowForceMax
The maximum force that can be used to throw an object
iThrowForceMin
The minimum force that can be used to throw an object
iThrowForceMult
incremental increase in force the longer the throw button is held.
iHoldDist
The distance from the player that a grabbed object is initially held at.

@Sahura, Maybe I need to play SoC again but I don't remember there being any non-detector related indicators of artifact presence, perhaps my memory is just that bad.

@Lupercal, Thanks! This was actually the first mod idea I had during my first playthrough of the game. I absolutely hated the requirement of needing the detector in hand to get any sort of indication of a nearby artifact. It seemed to me you could just the detector on your hip and just have the audio queues play. Anyway, that was the thought that let me to create this.

Great mod, with the sort of heartbeat effect on screen it feels very intuitive when you get near an artifact. This should be standard in the game to be honest it really adds to the immersion.
