1. Download dxwnd from their own website.

2. Unzip the file you downloaded anywhere. I prefer to unzip it to Program Files to use it later in its own folder.

3. Launch dxwnd. Click on Edit->Add. In the window that opens write "Puzzle Quest" in the name part. Fill the "Path" and "Launch" parts as well. You may click the "..." beside the spaces here to find the game files. Easy way to do this is first use the option from your Steam library "Browse Local Files". Then, copy the path from there. You need to select the game executable for the "Launch" part.


4. Untick Run in Window. Tick Acquire admin caps. Under position type your desired resolution in W (width) and H (height) boxes. I use 2560x1440 here as it's my native resolution for my desktop. Then, click on Try ... at the bottom. It should launch the game in your resolution or something compatible with it. Mine launches at 1440x900.

5. Then, close the game. Click OK in dxwnd "Add" window and you should see Puzzle Quest added to small dxwnd main window. You can now close that too and launch the game directly from your desktop shortcut or from Steam library. It doesn't matter. It will remember your settings.
