How to retexture a dataslate

Open ck and navigate to "book" use the filter for "dataslate".
Copy one of them, delete the stuff you don't need, and give it your ID.
Navigate to the "Layered Material Swap" search for the dataslate_Screen_01_To_Dataslate_Black_Swap, then make a copy of that.
Use the material editor to copy the .mat file the Layered Material Swap points to.
Save this in your own folder - Materials/YourCoolFile

MUST USE THIS FILE PATH FOR THE TEXTURE TO WORK!!!
Textures\Interface\Objects\DataSlate

after you set up your LMS to point to your .mat (that points to your texture)
Navigate to your "keywords" and make a type "Layered Material Swap".
Add that to your LMS (lil dots on the upper right) and your book.
Might want to make the Dataslate Item too. Add the LMS to the book and item. Might need to change the ref too if you hand place it in the world.

On the new book you made hit the buttons so, image name='' caption='' pop up. add your texture file name in the quotes for image name. No need to add the .dds or file path. The UI looks in the Textures\Interface\Objects\DataSlate.

I set the inventory art to none and it looked fine you might want to make an "art Object" and a "preview transform".

Pack your .mat and .dds
Make the file a small master and test it.
