Freya Crescent (Warfaremachine)

Freya Crescent from Final Fantasy IX is joining the race in The Karters 2: Turbocharged once again, in glorious HD modern graphics, courtesy of the fan-made model made by MrWarefaremachine (model was used with MrWarfaremachine's permission)!

This character mod features custom animations, voice lines, facial expressions, four outfits, and two of the outfits have a variety of color variations!

Each outfit also depicts Freya with a different "disposition", that is, her general demeanour in her facial expressions is different for each outfit!

The outfits and their dispositions are:

Dragon Knight (Neutral) - Freya's official design.

Dark Freya (Aggressive) - Inspired by Freya's earliest known concept art, "Dark Freya" is simply the nickname I give to it.

Casual Outfit (Cheerful) - An edit of Freya's normal outfit to create something that looks a little more casual. Comes with color variations featuring different shirt designs.

Cleyran Maiden (Shy) - The dancer outfit worn by the maidens in Cleyra in FFIX, that Freya famously performed a river dance alongside, and is often depicted wearing within fan art. Comes with various color variations, mostly inspired by some flag colors, as well as one special color variant that shows extra skin for a bit more fan-service. Also, you may notice that Freya is a little more...animated in certain areas while wearing this outfit...

Although the original model is NSFW, I've been sure to remove those elements from the model so you won't see anything startling even if you clip the camera around in Photo Mode. And speaking of that, I mostly took a philosophy of making the model look good "in-motion" from the normal gameplay camera. Some in-between frames of animations may still look weird when trying to freeze the action to take photos in Photo Mode so apologies if that is an inconvenience. Notably, there are known issues with the alignment of her Javelin weapon used in her animations, sometimes it randomly misaligns with the animations, but I've been unable to fix that so far.

I have also trimmed the file size down as much as I could (from 1.5 GB down to 299 MB!), but it's unavoidable that this would be a larger file size than most character mods due to all of the extra features, particularly all of the texture files involved. It's a much more complex model than most you would see ported into this game, and I didn't want to compromise on how it looked too much.
