You're welcome.
As you can see in screenshot, if the choices is in good order and completed, 14/18 decrypt is enough. And I got rebirth after choosing Zhe and Lin for the last time.

You have to restart from the beginning and choose either Xu and Lin as immortal.
Last Rebirth is by choosing everyone as eternal, murderer, and immortal with condition is decrypted when chosen.

Yes but which one did you picked as the murderer in the Rebirth run? The second time you have to pick, right after the body is find, who did you selected as the murderer?

I just re did another run, picked Zhou Zhe and Lin Xiaoyue, fully decrypted and with the secret clue. Picked He Zhiyi as the murder and still got the ending with the little girl killing everyone.

While i did select all of them at some point, I'm not sure if I did the combo Zhou Zhe + Lin Xiaoyue fully decrypt in the same run. I did them at some point for sure, maybe not as combo. After unlocking all the scene i always fully decrypt the ones i'm going to accuse in that specific run but good pointing that out. Just out of curiosity, who did you picked as murder for the Rebirth run?

So I got the Rebirth ending after playing twice, and it requires characters whose cards have been fully decrypted. As shown in the screenshot above in the guide, both Zhe and Lin had all their cards fully decrypted, so I was able to choose them as immortals. I had already chosen different characters during my first playthrough when decrypting the first three—Su, Xu, and He.

The scene unlocked from Rebirth shows Xu and Lin being tied up by the others, and when the earthquake hits, everyone except the two of them and those who escape the Grotto survive.

Then I'm sorry my friend. I couldn't help you more. All I wrote is based on my experience.

The last playthrough, I choose Zho and Lin as immortal (as captured in the screenshot above), and they really is (sacrificing each other to become immortal) then I decrypt the rest cards randomly. When I'm sure I've choose them, I open Lin secret in the right corner and then the game ended, showing both as immortal.

Then I closed the game, the Achievement unlocked.
