Instructions

Select "Play Guilty Gear X2 #Reload" from the start-up window in Steam, or open "GGX2.exe" from the installation directory.
In Guilty Gear X2 #Reload:
- With the Circle button key (which defaults to the B key on a keyboard):
  - Enter the main menu.
  - Select "OPTIONS", then "KEY CONFIG", then "DEFAULT" from the according menus.
- Press the Cross button key (which defaults to the U key on a keyboard).
- With the Circle button key:
  - Select "SAVE/LOAD", then "SAVE" from the according menus.
  - If and when prompted to overwrite existing save data, select "YES".
- Exit the game by pressing the Escape or F12 key.
Select "Configure Settings" from the start-up window in Steam, or open "Config.exe" from the installation directory.
In the "GUILTYGEAR XX #RELOAD Configuration" window:
- Select the "Gamepad Settings" tab.
- Enter your desired input configuration into the available fields using your controller.
- Select the "OK" button.

Xbox 360 Configuration

Assuming the netplay mod is installed:

Gamepad Settings mapped to the appropriate keys for an Xbox 360 controller.

hey running into an issue where it read my controller moving right constantly. What can I do to fix this?

Thank you for this guide. It worked perfectly. Using SCPDriver for a PS3 controller. Struggled so hard to figure out what to bind L2 and R2 as.

For people still having trouble with trigger buttons, make sure ZAxis is checked under Advanced Settings on top right.

Same here, R2 and L2 ain't working on my PS4 arcade stick.

I mostly have switch controllers, and one logitech (generic pad), i tried to map everything and all is fine except for the triggers. R2 and L2 seem to never want to come out.

it doesn't detect any of my inputs on any of my controllers that are supported by steam

It took me a while(also I accidentally swapped one of my wires to a different button before playing this game) but I got it. If anyone needs help just ask me or send me a message.Make sure to have the ZAxis option checked as well. I used a HoriRap4 arcade stick

Awesome! It works perfectly for me now, using a knock-off Xbox controller. Thanks!
(Command list is in the pause menu. Before I found this, I was pressing in the right stick to pause the game)
