Please disable all other AI mods as this has a bunch of scripts that overhauls the arma 3 vanilla bot/squad/tactics AI

randomized bases for blufor / opfor that spawn troops/apcs/tanks/air with points that each team starts with 1000, you as the player are not in control of the team but a small part of it, on connecting/playing SP scenario you get to pick your team and then you will spawn at your teams base, use the arsenal to pick your gear, you can load already made up loadouts and the game will automatically switch you to the correct team gear while keeping all your inventory/weapons, only clothing is limited per team you can use all weapons/gear, use the arsenal box for the settings if host or sp, you can control maxAI / timescale for mission / add or remove team points (used for AI waves) or just cheat if you want and give yourself a bunch of personal points to spend at the buy menu at your base arsenal.


once equipped at the start i recommend buying a quad bike and heading for the AAF stronghold town/city marked on your map, it will be the centre of the playable area and contains a few squads of bandits, how many is a forth of the maxAI setting, they are easy kills are gimped to be easy, but blufor/opfor AI is MAJORLY advanced with scripting to be competent but not cheat, the AI units and high commander for each team share realtime info on enemy units and current and past engagements to strategize on what to do, the AI high commander for each team is very sophisticated and will react to the current situation, you as a player will automatically give intel to your team as you see / engage enemies so you don't need to do anything, you are free to do whatever you want and nothing is expected of the player and you are given no commands from your commander, but what you do will change the battle, if you go sniper or scouting you will help your team outmaneuver the enemy team.

the game will automatically upgrade or degrade the tick rate of the botAI and high command thinking for game/server performance, if your game is running well at the default (i run no GPU and it works with the default maxAI setting just fine) you should increase the maxAI to where you feel comfortable playing as it only gets better with more units, the AI high commander can also call in supports such as a recon drone to scout, mortar strikes, flares ect, (the AI will shoot at recon drones in the sky and down it they are scripted to engage it if they "see" it (the "see" part is HEAVILY scripted so they don't feel like cheaters when fighting but you will still get your skull ventilated and not see them, try to play realistically and use terrain and sightlines to your advantage, the enemy will engage at far longer distances than vanilla and WILL wreck you if you are stupid, sprinting in the open they will see you from FAR away)

There are just so many features and things to talk about in this mission but ill leave it at that, please give me feedback and or bug reports, i have spent alot of time playtesting this so please report edge cases.





Key features include;
AI high commander for blufor/opfor

majorly enhanced bot AI for greater realism (they no longer aimbot past bushes for one example)

singleplayer and multiplayer, you can also choose which team to join when you spawn (blufor or opfor)

each team starts with 1000 team points, the AI high commander will spend these on units, vehicles unlock at 10min, heavy and air at 20min into the mission

you earn player points as well as team points for kills, you can spend these at your base arsenal box, including AI units, vehicles, paradropping ect

on death you simply lose a team point and a personal point and respawn at base, the arsenal is unlocked and free but your gear is restricted to the team faction, you won't lose anything since it will swap out to whatever the other teams gear is and refill your bags/uniform/vest with what it had before

you win by killing all the enemy so they can no longer spawn new units, at just 10 units (including players) left on a team the other team wins by domination, OR you can infiltrate the enemy base and then activate a one min timer, if you survive the one min timer inside the enemy base your team wins

it's replayable because the base locations and AAF locations are randomised on altis

the "AAF" stronghold will be the central part of your playable area, it contains 1/4th the maxAI you set at the start of the mission and is populated by low quality indep bandit troops, kill them for easy points early on, the blufor/opfor AI are significantly more of a threat than in vanilla, not by cheating or aimbotting, but by positioning and intel sharing between squads / their high commander, also strategy and tactics in the battle

players have infinite stamina and solid aim to compensate, sprinting in the open will probably get your spotted, while crawling behind bushes/cover unless you start firing you will probably not be detected by the AI

a robust cleanup and performance monitor for the host/server/player, it monitors not FPS but game ticks, if the server is under heavy load it will lengthen many HC/AI features as needed

Give it a play and post feedback here, ill probably fix it.

thanks for your responsiveness and updates. it could be a mod that im running that causes me to not spawn on the vehicle. ill give it try today.

and for playing the scenario on other maps, download .pbo manager (google it) and then open the skirmish scenario files with it, copy them all out somewhere, then open the editor on altis map and save on blank/empty map, then copy those skirmish files over the altis editor save, now you can open this scenario in the editor (you don't need any mods) and copy paste everything on the map onto the new map, and it should be playable like that

hm, it should teleport you right into the vehicle, i tested it with myself on lan and a second client, can you give me the steps that it fails to teleport you into it and i could probably fix it, but for now ill just make the despawn timer 5 mins instead of 1 for quads

i know i just posted 2 issues, but i want to offer some thanks and praise. i was having fun with this last night with a friend. i want to play more and really see how the scenario plays out in full. id love to play this on cam lau nam, but im not quite advanced enough to port it over. ill keep trying... but maybe a short example vid would help me to get it right,
