Creating a Save Backup
由 Arianna Altomare 制作
Given some rare reports of saves getting corrupted due to game crashes in this initial release, this guide will help with manually creating a backup just in case.

Quick Intro
If you're looking to backup your save files (whether due to wanting a safety save in case of save corruption, or to do other save manipulation fun) then this is a quick and easy guide. This is generally the same process with most game saves, so if you're already familiar with the process, this will be pretty simple.

If your save has become corrupted, I recommend trying to pull your Steam Cloud save first and see if it's still valid. If not, uploading a backup you made earlier should help get you back into a normal state.
Finding the Save Folder and Making a Backup (Windows)
Your save folder will be located at C:\Users\<YOUR_WINDOWS_USER>\AppData\LocalLow\Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc_\EverybodysGolfHotShots

To back up your local save, simply create a new folder (preferably in a different folder) and copy-paste all the files into it.

Should you need to restore the files into your Steam cloud for whatever reason, copy the files back into this folder, and the Steam "Cloud Status" should detect that there's a conflict in the saves - choose to upload your local files then.

For anyone on Steam Deck it is .steam/steam/steamapps/compatdata/2730810/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/AppData/LocalLow/Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc_/EverybodysGolfHotShots/

If there is a quicker path someone let me know

I'd have to pull this down on my own, I'd assume it would be in /.local nested deep under the application ID, but I'll try to give that a crack here when I get a chance.

Any idea how to do this on Linux/Steam Deck?
