描述
Adds MLRS Platforms with strong conventional capability.

Unlocks with TEL: MLRS Launcher, fires 6 rockets with particular effectiveness against army divisions

Improved TEL: 12 rockets

Advanced TEL : 24 rockets

Heavy Rockets : Massive Rockets (high damage and area)

Improved Sam : Ballistic Flak (small damage over large area, only affects air)

Improved Sam + Heavy Rockets : Massive Ballistic Flak (mild damage over huge area, only affects air)

Solid Fuel Rockets : Improved Conventional Munition (Releases bomblets, more disperse, slightly lower damage compared to default (unitary) projectile )

Penetration Aids : Improved Depth Charge Munition (Releases bomblets, improved damage, can hit submarines)

A fully upgraded MLRS can fire volleys of 24 rockets, either massive ground attack rockets, cluster rocket that can hit submarines, or a barrage of airbursting massive rockets that can obliterate wings.

Base MLRS is fairly strong against army divs compared to SRBM.

In each case the downside is it has no nuclear capability nor nuclear close in weapon system capability. It is additionally a quite expensive asset for a conventional one, and should be considered a similar prize as a cruiser. It is best engaged with standoff weapons if from air, or from any missile including other MLRS, or special forces.

Hello Komunre, I am working towards retuning the mod and there will be a different slate of units, so far there is a truck vaguely like now, a tracked mlrs, some bomblets, I am currently implementing minelets. I would wait until I can get out another programmer-art release, and if you are still interested in contributing models after reviewing the update I will add you as contributor then.

I will be retuning the mod soon. I am seeing a 6 rocket MLRS pod can throw about 600kg, and so does an SRBM with one rocket, so a rough baseline of the SRBM for the total damage output of the rocket volley will be adhered to, meaning roughly 5 damage (I am thinking 3.5 and 2x multiplier to 7 vs infantry to account for square cube law and a division being such a disperse target).The range will additionally be reduced to probably 500 or 600. I will also look into the possibility of implementing the ICM in a more performant manner so they can be spammed a bit more accounting their reduced firepower. I would like to maintain the switchable munitions with wildly divergent roles concept.

I looked up what an MLRS is, checked the US MLRS M270 and that thing seems tiny with not these absolute huge as fuck missiles. If the model stays the same, I think this seems overpowered. I just find it hard to believe a single MLRS is able to completely annahilate 20000 soldiers with their armor

it seems incredibly overpowered, yet it doesnt look that way, the models look very simple and like a regular missile truck. Fully upgraded MLRS completly decimates fully upgraded army divisions in like 1 volley, and the second one just finishes it off. How massive must these rockets be that they decimate 20000 soldiers and armor? I feel like the model could more give the feeling that these units are extremely powerful and not just missile trucks with these antimatter missiles lol
