The canteen isn't technically a canteen in the gameplay sense. I finished the Uber script and it was so cool that I didn't want medics to be the only way to get it, so I made the canteens as usable items that the player can spawn that grants them Uber effects when consumed.

wait since you're adding canteen power ups, is it possible that the medic can do canteen share which is an mvm upgrade where medic pops his canteen resulting both him and his healing buddy having the same effect? Or is the canteen only for the player to use?

Yup, it'll be there! Working on that right now, actually. These are power ups that apply uber/kritzkrieg effects to the player.
