Step 1: The Magnet

First, go to the snail area. On top of the chess piece there should be a magnet.

To get there, you need to launch yourself off of the rubber (dash into it).

Once you have it, go to the hat store and put it on the mannequin.
That way it'll be unlocked on the wall to grab it in any store.
(It's not necessary to bring it to the hat store, but it'll just be easier. You can carry it to floortown instead if you want)

Step 2: The "Apple"

Now we're going back to Floortown.
Go to the basketball hoop.
Using your Blowgun, drop the ball and grab it.

Now, carry it behind the hat store in this area.
You'll see the red paint there.
Drop the ball in the paint.

Step 3: The Magic

Carry the "Apple" to the Magician's setup (located in Floortown, next to the suitcase).
Drop the red ball on the marked circle next to the magician.

Now, grab the magnet from the hat store and bring it here as well.

Now go on the back and move the magnet from left (facing from back) to right and back to the left.

Please ingore my question. I should have listened to that magician more closely

I'm doing everything as it is said in this guide, but the magician is telling me "Put it back so I can do the trick". I'm moving the magnet from the back of the stage, but somehow the magician knows I'm there. What am I doing wrong?

Technically, you don't need to dash off the rubber band to collect the magnet, you can also walk up the diagonal piece of wood to get on top of the trees and parkour over to the fountain statue.
