(For the brute ranks I am not 100% certain, from my notes it looks like I downloaded them from the halo modding discord from Sergeant Stacker. I am not 100% certain though).

I updated the mod as follows:

- Updated mod version so it is now playable on MCC.
- Removed some fuel rod grunts from the 2nd mission "Desert" and reduced to just 1 banshee that attacks the player in the valley of "Desert" and just 1 banshee that attacks the player while they ascend the tree in "Desert".
- Cleaned up the geometry in the mission "Jungle" -- thank you memester420 from the Reclaimers Discord server for noticing that it wasn't smoothed.

@AntediluvianSaga : I'm playing this on the Deck, and this mod only has this issue with the black bars for the entire mission. I tried playing the other Halo 2 mod campaigns and the black bars fade out as intended.
Just like those 5 screenshots with the black bars.

Final update for this mod:
- Slightly re-balanced the "valley" section (with the 2 wraiths) in the mission "Desert" (the 2nd mission). Decreased enemy quantity and added some more marines and a crashed pelican w/ ammo and turrets to help w/ the banshees.
- Added nav points in "Desert" to make navigation clearer.
- Fixed a bug w/ the control panel and generator sequence in "Jungle" (the final sequence, near "Relic" and the initial LZ temple from "Delta Halo").

@Robert F. I cannot find a use of cinematic bars in either of the two missions. Are you certain this was the mod in question?

@JustinNuggest: Thanks fort he feedback, I am glad you enjoyed "Jungle". I can't take credit for the Brute armor, that goes to Sergeant Stacker (I believe...not 100% certain unfortunately).

Your feedback was helpful---admittedly I expect players to do a push and pull in these encounters (e.g., charging through will lead to your downfall, and likely no checkpoints due to the Covenant constantly shooting at you). I did decrease the difficulty in that valley with the two wraiths. There should be some more marines, and a crashed pelican w/ 2 marines in turrets that should help with the banshees. Be sure to stock up on rockets though nonetheless...

The cinematic bars don't seem to go away on all the missions.

I really enjoyed the first mission with the sheer amount of allies we are given. The red brute captain armor also looked very cool in H2

The second level put me through the ringer though (there's a bug where there's no checkpoints if you breeze past the vehicle section with the hog to the final wraith). I couldn't think of any other strategy since playing the normal way was so brutal on the ground level of the tree (hunters, 2 wraiths, hitscan Specters, nearly double digit quantity fuel rod grunts, sniper jackals, AND banshees). My marines died as soon as they entered the arena

Really cool, I had a lot of fun, especially with the first mission. I understand your mods are designed to be hard and played co-op, but I couldn't finish the second mission (on normal) just because the huge amount of enemies at the green door melt you and marines never lay down consistent machine gun fire(a problem with the game and not this map), although, this could just be a skill issue.

Hi Born, I am glad you had fun. I think that map is the mission "Desert"? That section is a little wonky unfortunately since to open the locked door you are referring to, you have to navigate up an exceptionally large tree trunk which is near the massive Arch in the center of the valley and to the left of where you enter the valley from. You will then get nav points for 4 different controls you need to press. I plan on updating the map with another nav point to indicate that (otherwise how would you know? It's not intuitive lol). I will post a comment indicating when I make that change if you wanted to replay it.
