In this Let's Play video, you will see me play Discounty (Version 1.0.1 Full Release).  Discounty is a Shopkeeper Tycoon Supermarket Management Simulation game with some interesting story in the town of Blomkest.  Your job as a Shopkeeper working for your Secretive Aunt is to maintain a profit while uncovering various mysteries of the town.  Discounty has some game mechanics similar to "Moonlighter",  "Blacksmith Master", "Winkeltje: The Little Shop", "Potion Craft", "Inn Tycoon", "Repair This!", "Blood Bar Tycoon", "Tavern Keeper",  "Food Park Manager", "Two Point Museum", "A Hero's Rest", "Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault", "Theme Hospital", "Rollercoaster Tycoon", "Galacticare", "Dungeon Tycoon", and other shop / service management games. The Pixel art graphics style and interaction with the town folks reminds me of Stardew Valley and Graveyard Keeper.  You can arrange and organize the shop layout however you want with the shelves and coolers.  Manage inventory in the back storage room. Be sure to buy and stock up on inventory to sell.  You will need to run the cash register yourself to check out the customers; so you play as a cashier while the store is open.  This game gives you that vibe of running your own 7-Elevan and Gas Station Convenience Store.  Discounty also has various story interactions with some of the Town folks.   I really enjoyed the vibe of this game and curious to see what's going on with the Aunt Teller.  It's a fun game and highly addictive.  In this episode, we got the Barcode Scanner making check out so much easier. I definitely recommend this game. Don't forget to Wishlist it.
