Open the Console with tilde: '~'
Enter these commands:

• set killmove to 0
  
• set killmoverandom to 0

You should still be able to get achievements and you don't need anybody's mod.
The only caveat is that you must enter those commands at the start of every session.

To turn it back on simply flip the '0' to a '1' for both commands.
