In-depth Archarbor Puzzle Explanation
Af MegaMidboss
I'm writing this guide as I feel it took me way too long to find out that I needed Duviri to be in the correct mood for the guaranteed puzzle island to show up. And I also needed to be in the correct mode for the puzzles to appear as well.

Duviri puzzles 101 and getting started
So you've got a Nightwave mission to complete 3 Duviri puzzles and you don't know how to go about completing a Duviri puzzle. Let alone how to find one. But you managed to stumble across information that Archarbor has a guaranteed puzzle located there and you also stumbled across my guide.

For this guide I will be focusing on the Archarbor puzzle as that puzzle is guaranteed to be there and you can use what you've learned at this puzzle with the other puzzles in Duviri.

First things first, make sure Duviri is experiencing the following emotions: joy, sorrow or envy. If the Duviri is undergoing anger or fear then Archarbor island won't be there.

Secondly, in order to have puzzles appear in Duviri you need to choose the correct mode.

The left mode, 'The Circuit' is a battle mode that takes place in Duviri's Undercoft and is intended to unlock warframes. So don't choose that mode as puzzles can't be done there.

The right mode, 'the lone story' might seem like puzzles can spawn, but they won't. I initially thought the description about no side objectives meant no Undercroft battles but that turned out to be a misunderstanding on my part. This mode is intended for players to beat up the Oroworm as quickly as possible without getting bogged down in side quests like puzzles and quests to get decrees. Decrees being the buffs that let you choose from 4 buffs that help you beat the mode you're in. For clarification quests being the things like doing races, saving people and shooting targets. All around challenges, that while they get you things like intrinsics and decrees, aren't considered puzzles for the nightwave challenge. Sometimes these quests have a U symbol floating above them to make them easily spottable while you're flying around on your mount.

The mode you want to choose is the middle option 'The Duviri Experience'. If you need a way to remember which mode to choose, its the only option that has the 'U' symbol above it. This 'U' symbol can be located above quests that appear in this mode. Quests like racing or herding animals. Puzzles in this mode have an owl above or near the symbols that have the answer.

So to summarize the above into a short list of things you need to do to set the game up for the Archarbor puzzle to appear:
1) Make sure the current mood in Duviri is joy, sorrow or envy so that Archarbor island appears.
2) Choose 'The Duviri Experience' when Warframe presents the option to you.
Lone Story Archarbor Puzzle
In the previous section I mentioned how puzzles aren't solvable in the lone story. I'm going to show you what the Archarbor puzzle looks like when you choose the wrong mode, and how its not solvable in the wrong mode. I hope this information reaches some people who are desperately trying to figure out the puzzle behind getting puzzles to show up. Because I spent way too much time trying to find puzzles in Lone Story mode only to be left wondering if the game was bugged.

The above screenshot shows that the puzzle owl is there, however the puzzle is not doable at the moment because, like I mentioned earlier, I chose to play in the lone story mode to show you what it looks like. Some krubies spawned down here if you were wondering what the blue creature behind the owl was. Oh, and I have ally highlighting in the accessibility options enabled to make it easier to distinguish allies from enemies during fights.

As for how the puzzle isn't doable, the puzzle solution isn't lit up and you won't find any discs, or be able to shoot things, and you won't get any sort of response that what you're doing has any impact on the puzzle in the area. For the proper puzzle experience see the section below intended for the "The Duviri Experience".
Reaching The Duviri Experience Archarbor Puzzle
Now that you should have the correct mode chosen, the correct mode being "The Duviri Experience" and it is the correct mood for the island to even appear, I will do a step by step of what you need to do to gain access to the puzzle. Because otherwise its blocked off by gates.

1) Hold down M and teleport to the island if you have fast travel unlocked. Otherwise, fly over to the island.

2) Make the 3 above ground busts (a bust is a sculpture that features someone's upper torso and head) located in the southwest, north, and south east portions of the island, face the centre of the island.

The screenshot below shows the interaction menu that pops up when you're in the right spot next to a bust.

You will know you've done this part correctly after you have faced all three of the busts towards the centre of the island, because then the busts will then have a faint glow around them.

3) Disable the security of the South West entrance to the underground area.

4) Make the fourth bust, that is underground, face the center of the island. From that bust location you will have a view of the area you have to reach through the window. That area will have the gates that were blocking off access to it, be lowered as well.

5) Ride towards the middle of the underside of the island and reach the actual puzzle.
Solving the Duviri Experience Archarbor Puzzle
Puzzles in the Duviri involve moving discs around and throwing them into the right receptacles to make them match the series of symbols inscribed near an owl. In the case of the Archarbor island puzzle, the symbols are on the wall near the owl. Other puzzles usually have the owl sitting on the solution.

For this puzzle, there is a set order that the symbols are positioned that was posted to the wiki at https://wiki.warframe.com/w/Archarbor

You see that image to the left? That will reduce the amount of time you have to spend on figuring out which positions are what in-game.

My solution had the symbols that looked like, an X with a horizontal line through it, a zero with a 1 inside of it, a bald guy with ears, 4 symbols that are partially covered up by the plates and a rounded faucet like symbol at the bottom. Your solution will likely have similar looking symbols but not in the same order. Hope that you don't get as bad partially covered symbols like I did for this guide because position 4, 6 and 7 looked very similar to each other.

To break down what the puzzles expect you to do, you will shoot things (by the way, shooting discs in shiny receptacles sometimes shoots a beam of light at you. You will want to dodge the light before it becomes a full prism of light, otherwise you will a bit of damage), push things with your interact key, or stand on things to make shiny receptacles appear. Then you pick the discs up and throw them into the shiny receptacles. Then you shoot the disc in the shiny receptacle to change the symbol to try and guess what the solution is. The solution requires you to reference the image above with what you see in-game as the puzzle isn't the same for everyone.

Once you have the right symbol in the right spot for the uncovered symbols on the wall will have a faint circular effect around it. The covered portion of symbols won't light up with a circular effect even if you do guess the right symbol. So, once you reach steps 4-7 you will have to figure out what the symbols are for those spots mainly by seeing what symbols are in spots 4-7 when you shoot the discs in those spots. Then you can guess which middle portion of the symbol that you can see matches the available symbols of those discs.

See the below crudely drawn image showing how the symbols are covered and can look similar to the symbols you have chosen, but could end up being a different option. The left symbols being what they look like uncovered, the middle being a step between covered and uncovered and the right symbols being what you will see in game for the 4-7 symbol solutions.

The below screenshot shows you what they look like in my puzzle. I did not have an easy time with this version of the puzzle because solutions 4, 6 and 7 looked very similar.

Alright, now that that explanation is out of the way, lets do a step by step solution of my puzzle so you can better see how to solve the puzzle. I will try to say disc container for something that contains a disc that you need to break open and shiny receptacle for something that holds a disc for the puzzle and can be shot to change its symbol.

Oh, and unfortunately the puzzle didn't open the first time I attempted the puzzle for this guide. I thought that the 6th and 7th symbols were wrong and first focused on those two. I thought I had the first 2 covered symbols in the bag. I also tried shuffling the discs around to see if the symbols displayed are tied to the discs but that didn't seem to be the case. I think I was in the mission for too long. I forget what mood Duviri I started writing the guide in but when I left and checked after the mission was over, the mood was anger. And when Duviri is in an angry mood the Archarbor island isn't there which may have impacted the game. But I'm guessing what caused the issue. Anyways, if I get anything wrong or forgot to mention something, let me know.
Part 1 of Solving the Archarbor Puzzle
First, shoot the vine covered disc container. Then pick up the disc. The vine covered disc container is 5 spots to the left of the solution.

Throw that disc into the vine covered shiny receptacle. Position 1's shiny receptacle is 4 spots to the right of the solution on the wall. After the disc was in the shiny receptacle I shot the disc to match the X with the horizontal line through it. This made position 1 of the solution have a slight circular effect around it indicating it was correct for my version of the puzzle.
Part 2 of Solving the Archarbor Puzzle
Second, shoot the shiny receptacle 4 spots to the left of the solution on the wall. More specifically, shoot the blue and gold target on it. I made the symbol look like the 0 with the 1 inside of it. This made position 2 of the solution on the wall have a slight circular effect appear around it indicating it was correct for my version of the puzzle.
Part 3 of Solving the Archarbor Puzzle

Third, shoot the disc container to the left of where the vine covered disc container used to be. This spot is 6 wall segments to the left of the solution. The spot you have to shoot on the disc container gets shiny every so often which you should be able to see in my screenshot above.

Bring that disc over to the wall segment 3 spots to the right of the solution. You will need to stand on a button in order to open the shiny receptacle so that you can throw it in. Then, I shot the disc inside the receptacle until the symbol looked like the one that is a bald head with ears sticking out of the head. This made position 3 on the solution have a slight halo around it indicating I was doing the puzzle correctly.
Part 4 of Solving the Archarbor Puzzle
Fourth, shoot the connecting piece between the cable and the disc container of the one hanging from the ceiling as seen above. This disc container is sixth from the right of the solution on the wall. You may have noticed by now that you only have 1 disc in your hand and 1 disc remaining in a container, but there are 3 shiny receptacles remaining. I'll explain why this is the case after you look at the below images.

This shiny receptacle located 2 spots to the right of the solution on the wall is a scanner. You can tell its a scanner by what looks like 2 prongs holding neon coloured plastic wrap inside the shiny receptacle when there is no disc inside of it.

As for what it does, it remembers the symbol on the disc and then lets you shoot the tab that shows up below it to dump out the disc to be used in another shiny receptacle. If you jumped ahead and already have all the discs in a shiny receptacle but still need 1 more for this step, the first vine covered shiny receptacle has a bottom tab you can shoot to dump out its disc, along with 3 of the other shiny receptacles. But then, when you put it back into the vine covered shiny receptacle (or the other ones), you need to change the symbol back to what you had it set to before dumping it.

I decided to keep the disc in the scanner shiny receptacle for now.

Since the fourth position on the solution wall is partially covered I noticed that my solution has 2 parts to it. Maybe a line on the left and right side. Upon closer inspection the solution seems to have a slightly wider left side than its right side. At least the part that I can see. So, maybe its the symbol that looks like a 0 with two nubs on the inside.
Part 5 of Solving the Archarbor Puzzle
Fifth, push the remaining disc container over. Throw it into the shiny receptacle 2 slots to the left of the solution on the wall.

I think the fifth solution symbol (that is covered on the wall) is the pitchfork symbol so I shot it until it became that symbol.
Part 6 of Solving the Archarbor Puzzle
Sixth, shoot the shiny receptacle just to the right of the solution. I made this disc have the upside down U symbol.
Part 7 of Solving the Archarbor Puzzle
Seventh, shoot the shiny receptacle just to the left of the solution. I made this one look like the M that is missing the middle portion.
Part 8 of Solving the Archarbor Puzzle
Finally, the eighth symbol. Shoot the green disc to open up the shiny receptacle above it. Now, retrieve the disc in the scanner. Then, throw that disc into the shiny receptacle above the eighth spot.

I shot the disc in the shiny receptacle until it became what looks like a curved faucet. This made the bottom solution on the wall have a slight circular effect around it indicating that it was the correct solution for that portion.
Screenshots of Solved Puzzle Rewards and Solution Wall
Sorry that the mood of the pictures below that were taken in Duviri doesn't match the pictures above. I think I had an issue with the version of the puzzle that I got during the joy mood. Which as I mentioned above was likely because I was taking my time typing this guide out as I was doing it and I probably took so long the game didn't recognize the island as existing in the current mood of Duviri. But I'm just guessing at why the puzzle didn't count as solved.

The above image is a picture of the rewards on the ground once the puzzle is solved.

And the above image is what the solution on the wall looks like once its solved on my second attempt while writing this guide.
