1. The guide doesn't mention that the "Top Condition" and "Massive Mana Pool":
I remember i did Oyu route first and get the achievements, so I think as long as you increase your HP/MP to maximum, it'll count toward the achievements. This one is really hard to produce though as I cannnot get the achievements twice so there is no way for me to test it.
2. On section "09. Fog Valley (2)":
that's because Steam has a limit on the number of characters per section, this sucks.
you are right, I missed this point.
4. On your S-Rank routing, there is no Magoichi section in the Demon Cave:
There IS Magoichi sections in Demon Cave, unless i'm missing something so let me know.
5. on the "07. Gift Exchange (1)" section, specifically in the "Reward Pool C"
The last one is Kotaro. You have to trade in the order listed though, because you need items received from previously traded to continue trading.
You probably didn't upset him enough during the trade, you probably notice that you have to give the same item again and again to him, this is because you have to reduce the friendship points to the point where he no longer show up in the Gifu area. The number I set is the bear minimum if you strictly follow the guide, so I probably have to increase the numbers to be sure.
7. When you said "IMPORTANT: If you are trying to get S-Rank but not very good at performing critical hit
I assumed that in average, you should get some critical hits during your run + obtaining the black necklace, you should be able to achieve 500 critical hits, unless you really bad have 0 critical hit until the black necklace, then yes, you have to run to every corner to achieve it.
Thanks for the feedback,
Your Warlords guide was awesome and this one too, it helped me immensely getting 100% on every route, all I have to do left now are the minigames.
Thank you so much for the hard work you poured into it!!
Granted I was on Ultimate Mode for the S-Rank route, but I was at 0 Critical Hits until getting the Black Necklace. I then kept it on all the way to the end of the game and I had close to 300 with 150000 souls and 3:13 on the clock on the score board, which means I had plenty of time left. Spamming critical hits on bosses is also a easy way to farm them.
- on the "07. Gift Exchange (1)" section, specifically in the "Reward Pool C" sub section, Eiki is written twice. Kotaro is supposed to be the second one, if I remember correctly.
- On your S-Rank routing, there is no Magoichi section in the Demon Cave (guide says "Route: Magoichi | S-Rank"), unless, once again, I messed up something during trading.
- I would specify somewhere that Ultimate Mode is unlocked by beating Hard Mode. I'm saying this because when following your recommandations for routes, I was wondering why I had to do the second run on Hard Mode, and since Ultimate Mode is extremely useful to trivialize the remaining runs, I think it's important for lazy people like me to not miss out on it.
- The guide doesn't mention that the "Top Condition" and "Massive Mana Pool" achievements can ONLY be obtained on Magoichi's Route, since one of each jewel only drops during his canon minigame. Therefore, in the "My Recommandation (Optional)" section, I would change the 3rd Run to "Magoichi Route + Essentiel Trade (and not "No Trade") + Ultimate Mode". Then, players can have all 18 jewels in their inventory before the final boss, make a save, beat him with no upgrade to get the "No Help Needed" achievement, then reload the save and use all jewels to get both upgrade achievements.
I haven't tested it, but Oyu's route with Essential Trades could work too because of the "love boost" in health and magic Jubei gets in Gifu Castle's waterfall area. But since it doesn't require jewels, I'm not too sure.
