Introduction
So, after barely making it out of the first map with a hefty number of casualties, you and your friends are in this weird place called Shop - Service Station, mesmerized by the varied amount of expensive stuff and shiny upgrades. Your friends decide to buy a couple of tumble launches and stamina for fun, BUT sometimes, between the upgrades and the medkits, there is stuff like a frying pan and a funny-looking pink pistol.

This guide will help you make a solid choice when spending the leftover money after getting your important upgrades and minimize wasting your time with stuff that's barely useful.

The items are ordered inside their tiers; higher inside the tier is better.

Press Ctrl + F and type the equipment you want to read about.
Important Terms
Small Enemies: Apex Predator, Animal, Rugrat, Spewer, Hidden
AoE: The full Area of Effect (AoE) of the zero gravity orb is 4 units; the distance from the left zero gravity orb to the human grenade is 2.5 units, and 3.5 for the normal grenade
S-Tier
Gun | $19k - $20k
Uses 15
Damage 80
Against Small Enemies AND Huntsman:
Light Knockback 3 second Stun and Physics Damage

The Gun is the first and only thing in the shop that you must buy, mandatorily, you see it, you buy it, no question, all other stuff in this guide require some planing and consideration when buying but not the Gun, that's how good this weapon is.

Good accuracy, high enough damage, lots of ammo, the Gun can defeat all level 3 monsters in 4 shots, except the Trudge, which takes 7, the Apex Predator sometimes can be killed with one shot and letting the physics damage finish it off by falling into a pit or crashing against walls, you can snipe the Hidden if you spot his breathing or the Peeper if you pull the Gun AFTER it has locked on you, it's easier than getting caught midway.

Extremely versatile weapon with a very cheap price.

Tranq Gun | $15k - $18k
Uses 8
Damage 0 + Physics Damage
18 second Stun

Another very cheap tool, with great capacity, the tranquilizer gun will put any enemy it hits into a long stun, dropping them into the ground, it deals no damage by itself but it can stop any enemy and put them out of combat for a long time, giving time to your friends to run or gang up on em, this is particularly good when all the extractions are done, since enemies will INSTATLY RESPAWN whenever they are killed, so it's much more convenient putting that Headman to sleep with a single shot, than wasting shotgun ammo just for him to respawn next to you.

Like previously mentioned, this is not a snap buy, you don't really need this for Level 2, works better on higher difficulty maps with more death pits; it's better to spend these $18k in upgrades.
A-Tier
Shotgun | $39k - $48k
Uses 5
TOTAL Damage 325 + Physics Damage
3 second Stun Strong Knockback

The Shotgun is kind of a high-risk high-reward weapon because you have to get very close to enemies for its full damage, but when you do, it will annihilate anything in front of it, and in the case of the Trudge, it will send it back stunned.

If you are not consistently killing level-3 monsters with one shot, try to line up the gun's barrel (not the reticle on your screen) to touch the enemy's center of mass; if you know what you're doing then the high-risk part of this gun becomes irrelevant.

Definitely something that you want in your arsenal as quickly as possible, due to its high cost you should consider first if you want to spend all of the previous level's money in one (shot) gun.

Sledge Hammer | $40k - $47k
Uses 10
Damage 150 + Physics Damage
5 second Stun Strong Knockback
(No Stun/Knockback against Trudge or Clown)

The first melee weapon in this tier list, a powerhouse for melee weapons, unfortunately, using melee weapons as your main source of damage can and will be risky due to the game janky physics, latency and overall clunkiness.

However, delivering 150 damage in a single hit will guarrantee to kill lots of enemies in a single hit, notably, the Shadow Child, who tends to escape and recover when hit with most other weapons, and the Apex Predator, safely dispatching it in a single blow.

Use this to get rid off annoying enemies that are not very dangerous when you fight them in melee.

Photon Blaster | $39k - $48k
Uses 5
45 per Hit, TOTAL Damage 270 + Physics Damage
2 second Stun Strong Knockback

Long range continuous beam that deals decent damage, capable of killing all (except Trudge) level 3 monsters in one discharged, but only if you make all the 6 tick of damage hit your target, which is not always the case due to the strong knockback inflicted upon them, so tracking your shots while firing becomes necessary, otherwise leaving enemies alive, for this inconsistency I rank this weapon lower than the Sledge Hammer, still a useful weapon albeit in the same expensive price range.

You can sweep the beam across the room to hit multiples enemies, damaging and knocking them all back.

Boltzap | $15k - $18k
Uses 20
Damage 4 + Physics Damage
1.5 second Stun Light Knockback

Cheap long range, mini-stun weapon with massive ammo capacity, this weapon true potential unlocks in the midgame when there are death pits everywhere, with a little practice, you can ambush enemies walking by said death pits and drag them in, even at low to no strength for the most money efficient way to make orbs, mind you this has to be done in the span of 1.5 seconds; Apex Predators into pits are free kills thanks to the knockback.

Or you can just shoot everything that moves and/or save your friend that's been chased by Robe.

C.A.R.T. Cannon | $39k - $48k
Uses 5
Damage 500

C.A.R.T Laser | $39k - $48k
Uses 5
100 per Hit, TOTAL Damage 800 + Physics Damage
Strong Knockback

Similar piece of artillery for your C.A.R.T, these things deal devastating damage to anything in front, the cannon will instantly kill any enemies it touches no matter what, it's funny popping the Trudge in a single hit

The laser is also good, I rank it a little lower than the cannon because it needs to hit a couple of ticks to kill level 3 monsters but it should not be a problem, you can use the same sweep strategy to hit multiples enemies, this time able to kill multiple level 3 IF the laser angle is correct/they don't go under the laser.

Both are good tools to defend yourself against the biggest threats, it takes space inside your C.A.R.T or Pocket C.A.R.T so prepare for this.

Indestructible Drone | $23k - $30k
Total use time 210 seconds

Place this near a valuable that you don't want to get damage, activate and now you can be rough and careless with it, really handy for stuff that breaks easily like big vases and dinosaur skeletons, or items that tend to bump into walls and floor due to their size like a harp or piano.

This drone is always useful, but getting it on the first shop might not be the best investment.
B-Tier
Sword | $19k - $20k
Uses 15
Damage 50
Against Apex Predator and Rugrat:
Strong Knockback 6 second Stun and Physics Damage

You could say this is a straight upgrade from the Frying Pan, except this only stuns two kinds of small enemies instead of all of them.

This weapon only deals a raw amount of 50 damage, it's high on this tier because of its low cost, but still, using melee weapons is risky, not much to say about this.

Feather Drone | $15k - $18k
Total use time 210 seconds

Cheap price, will make anything attached to as light as a feather, so you can carry that griffin statue with 0 strength as if it was nothing, loses value as the game progresses due to strength upgrades but you can give it to a friend who is not stacking strength.

It doesn't work on enemies, stunned or not; It works on yourself, will make your jumps higher, high enough to reach the secret shop.

Recharge Drone | $15k - $18k
105% Capacity

This drone will recharge any other item in the game, so you don't have to walk back to the truck, it can fully charge any depleted item once before needing to refill, ok to have, takes one inventory slot, or just drop it in your C.A.R.T.

Grenade | $3k
Damage 150 + Physics Damage
AoE 3.5
3 second Stun Strong Knockback

Very good starting consumable weapon, $3k price with good damage and AoE will take care of most of enemies that are not Level 3, and heavy damage against said Level 3 (again, unless it's Trudge).

I always take this in the first shop as a filler along the Human Grenade, both of thes will take care of the big monsters so you can freely loot the place for aproximately 15 minutes.

Human Grenade | $2k
Damage 100 + Physics Damage
AoE 2.5
3 second Stun Strong Knockback

Like a regular grenade but lower AoE and damage, still really useful when paired with other weapon or explosive, this is really cheap and excellent filler, I always take in the first levels when I don't have any other weapon.

Throw this to finish off hurt enemies, careful with the Reaper, her swinging blade attacks will knock the grenade away mid-fly.

C.A.R.T. | $39K - $48K

Very useful in the mid-game when more items spawn and you start to generate more orbs, since the money bag from extraction will always occupy half of your C.A.R.T., an extra will be really useful to help your team, especially with fragile orbs.

In the late game less and less small items will spawn, but the orbs will keep coming.
C-Tier
Duct Taped Grenade | $2k
Damage 100 + Physics Damage
AoE 2.5
3 second Stun Strong Knockback
Spawns 3 Human Grenades after exploding

Same dirt cheap price and same stats as the Human Grenade, but ranked lower despite the potential +400 damage in one explosion?, I rank this lower because the bomblets spawned by this go in random direction and most of the time miss their target, and more than once they have bounce and rolled back at me when I was hiding in another room, killing me and/or breaking valuables.

Still good due to its really cheap price, works best in tight rooms and corridors like those in Headman Manor.

You can grab and store the bomblets spawned by this, but this is kinda hard and risky.

Stun Grenade | $2k
Damage 0 + Physics Damage
AoE 3.5
15 second Stun Light Knockback

Good filler in the early game, use this to save your friends or yourself from dangerous monsters like Headman or Robe, never hurts to pop one of these to escape at the end.

Explosive Mine | $3k
Damage 200 + Physics Damage
3 second Stun Strong Knockback

This things deal a lot of damage, but it also takes a long time to arm itself, and the monster has to step on top of it to set off, and when it does the damage will probably not be enough to kill a level 3 monster; these downsides gives it a low tier since a regular grenade would do the same job faster.

Pocket C.A.R.T. | $15k - $18k

Helpful in the early game, you can store it in your inventory and deploy on command, if you scout ahead and find yourself away from the main C.A.R.T. just deploy this and fill it with small valuables or store a single orb so it doesn't break.

You can place a black vase upside down in it, it will be very stable.

Baseball Bat | $40k - $45k
Uses 10
Damage 45 + Physics Damage
5 second Stun Strong Knockback

Fun to use, launches stuff it hits far, stunning and dealing decent damage to any enemy, the problem is that melee sucks as stated in other weapons, and this is really expensive.

Seriously just get the sledgehammer if you want a useful melee weapon or instead spend this money on upgrades.

Duck Bucket | $6k - $8k

Ok this item is kind of a joke, but you can do a bunch of stuff with it besides trapping one (1) Apex Predator; you can use it to instantly hide inside, to store items (not recommended), to block Huntsman shots, and it's pretty cheap too.

Phase Bridge | $19k - $20k
Uses 6

This item can be useful, it can help you, but it's tricky to use, it only uses energy after extending it a bunch of time; it will never use energy if you are not actively extending it, so use it has a permanent bridge between two points, you retract/turn off by placing it in your inventory.

There's rooms with holes in the middle where you can make a straight path with this, especially in the twists and turns bathroom extraction in Headman Manor, you have to be careful, if you run while on top of it it will move forward and backward, likely dropping you into the pit if the bridge is not extra-extra long, also bumping into it while trying to step on it.

Lastly, you can use it as a ladder; your character will stick to it and climb up even at very shallow angles (but not for almost vertical angles).

I really want this tool to not be useless trash like valuable tracker or rubber duck, if they could make the bridge anchor to the ground and not move so you don't bump into it and drop then this would definitely go up in tier.

D-Tier
This are starting to get really dubious from now on, I would only pick anything in this tier if I'm really desperated.

FRYING PAN OF DOOM | $15k - $17k
Uses 15
Damage 18
Against Small Enemies:
Light Knockback 6 second Stun and Physics Damage

This weapon is a curse, it's always there, at the start of the game when people are baited into getting it, and in the mid game when you don't really want it, if you buy it's either to:
  • Get rid of it so it stops spawning in the shop
  • You have absolutely no weapons or strength and you're on the level 4 map
People will buy this and then proceed to bash the Trudge repeatedly as if they're going to kill it anytime soon, or constantly whack a Reaper, these instances ends with the user dying or completely using the pan to kill one (1) enemy.

Now if you want to get any value out of this, use it stop a Rugrat from wrecking havoc againts all your valuables, to kill Spewers, maybe Upscreams if they don't get you first.

A real last ditch weapon. Just don't.

Shockwave Grenade | $3k
Damage 0 + Physics Damage
AoE 2.5
5 second Stun Strong Knockback

Do you want a weaker Stun Grenade? much less stun duration, less range, $1k more expensive? but at least this pushes and knocks enemies away.

Prodzap | $24k - $30k
Uses 17
Damage 8 + Physics Damage
3 second Stun Strong Knockback

This thing is so expensive for what it does, people never buy this because of how underwhelming it is, the damage it deals is low and you will have to use a lot of whacks to kill Level 3 monsters, the stun is short for a weapon you have to get close to enemies.

Way too expensive, this is a Boltzap but worse in everything.
Seemingly Worthless
F-Tier if you will, these item are so worthless, bad bad, terrible, massively underwhelming, basically unusable trash, I don't know if there's some amazing trick hidden in any of these but for me they're worthless.

Shockwave Mine | $3k
Damage 0 + Physics Damage
4 second Stun Strong Knockback

It's like a Explosive Mine, except this bounces enemies around, so on top of having all of the Explosive mine downside (having to wait for it to arm, enemy has top step right on top), it has a low chance of killing anything.

Trapzap | $3k
Damage 0 + Physics Damage
8 second Stun

Even worse than the Shockwave Mine, this will attach to the first enemy that walks on top of it and will stun them (and anything that gets very very close, including you) for some time, the monsters might take physics damage once.

Valuable Tracker | $15k - $18k
Duration 210 seconds

Just look around and you'll find the valuables.

Extraction Tracker | $15k - $18k
Duration 210 seconds

Just walk around and you'll find the extractions.

TIP: They only spawn at the borders of the map

Rubber Duck | $16k - $20k
"Uses 6"
Damage 50
5% 250 Damage explosion instead

Bounces around, makes noise, you really want to "distract" anything with it? the Huntsman? just don't bother with this garbage, it even uses crystals.

Inflatable Hammer | $9k - $12k
Uses 20
Damage 5
5% 250 Damage explosion instead

Another RNG weapon, this is another joke item, but unlike the Duck Bucket, I ain't laughing; Deals minimal damage and gives you 20 chances to roll the explosion that will kill monsters (except Trudge).

It is possible to completely depleted it without getting at least one explosion, waste of money.

Roll Drone | $9k - $12k
Duration I don't even know man seconds

Attach to items, valuables and weapons to make them roll towards you.
Attach to enemies to make them roll away from you.
Attach into you to make yourself ragdoll and roll forward at a speed.

Never used it, trashy equipment and no I don't care for you inflatable + roll drone combo.

Zero Gravity Drone | $23k - $29k
Duration 210 seconds

Do you want a worse Feather Drone? Stuff with this will slide in the air while you're carrying them, it will make you jump a little higher but not higher than if it was a Feather Drone.

I guess you can in theory, put a big item on the ceiling of the extraction so it doesn't take space at the bottom? I guess? or just get Strength + Range upgrades and keep the item levitating by yourself.

Zero Gravity Drone | $42k - $43k
Duration 210 seconds
AoE 4

I will give this item the lowest rank in the entire game because, why is it so damn expensive? Why do I really need an AoE of 4 to stay in zero gravity?

Way too expensive.
Untier

Health and Crystals, not something I would put in the tier list; Just buy them when you need them.

Now listen here, you do not really need to blow the money you got from the first level in stupid medkits, why? Is not the 50 FREE HP from the truck not good enough for you? You're just gonna die again anyway, why wasted money in the early game buying so many medkits, for real, it's just a skill issue and that's not a bad thing; part of learning, don't waste money in medkits at the start of the game.

You're better off buying more stamina or strength or something more useuful than wasting money healing yourself on the first map if you know you will die immediately to the first monsters you see

This is my medkit rant.

Now for the crystals, I always buy at least one when I have something that actually uses energy, don't just stack on crystals if you don't have items that use them, crystals are not expensive and you don't need to save money, at high levels you can try and should be able to buy ALL the crystals from the shop.

Now, at higher map level, higher difficulty and better understanding of the game, try to keep a couple of 100HP medkits in the truck, along with having HP upgrades, you can tank one Huntsman snipe or a Robe attack and survive.

feather + roll drone is worth it ;)
Woofer 12.9. klo 4.02
Pulse Pistol kinda goated if you ask me... Lots of ammo capacity and you can use it to keep enemies in place while you line up a cart cannon shot with the generous stun duration. Also great to get enemies off your back in general, not so much as a killing tool
