Toothpick in the card.

Stick a toothpick in the card under the matchbox like so and balance the magnet on it :

Throw the dice up.

Throw the dice up from under the magnet so it get magnetised. It should get stuck and not fall :

Pick up your prize.

You can now go up and around and pick up the dice :

Dice-Hat

If you bring it to the Hat shop, you will notice that the D4 dive and the D6 are technically the same item :

On a side note this guide is pretty similar to a method that you can use to make a popcorn hat

You grab the corn from the farming puzzle you need for the lettuce, make sure to bring the kernel to the hat store so you have it as a separate hat, and then take the kernel out, bring it to the dice puzzle, heat the kernel up with the burners, then throw the popcorn out of the hole (use the airgun if necessary) you fell in because you can't bring it out of the teleporter hole as it's not wide enough. From there you can grab the popcorn out of the lighter box, and bring it to the hat store for a new hat.

I was still able to get it past the police by pulling it as far forward as I could before he kicked it, then going behind the matchbook to use the blowgun and push the inner part forward. Keep repeating that and eventually when he kicks it, it has no where in the box to go anymore so it pops outside of it. Only thing is it doesn't seem to spawn on the store shelf after that.
