Supraworld – Optimization Guide
Unreal Engine 5 is a bit of a double-edged sword. It can create jaw-dropping worlds, but right now it also eats your GPU for breakfast.
We’re in this new gaming era where hardware requirements keep skyrocketing, yet the visual leap isn’t always as massive as the performance hit.

Ray tracing looks great… but at what cost? Unfortunately, this is one of our biggest FPS killers. And in Supraworld it seems to still be enabled even on the lowest preset, so there’s no full escape.

These days you often need a monster GPU just to run a game at decent framerates — and even then, you’ll likely end up using upscaling like FSR/DLSS plus some “fake frames” just to keep things smooth.

Rant aside — here’s how to make Supraworld run better without turning it into a blurry mess.

Graphics - The Most Important Settings

Upscaling Mode: FSR
(I haven’t noticed a meaningful difference between FSR and TSR in this game.)

Screen Percentage: 50–75%
Play around with this, it's your biggest lever for performance. Lowering it reduces render resolution, then upscales it back. Which gives you performance while sacrificing some image quality. Test different values until you find the sweet spot for your setup.I found 50–75% keeps the game smooth without losing too much detail.

Frame Generation: FSR
Enables fake frames for smoother gameplay. The side effects didn’t bother me, so I left it on. Your mileage may vary depending on sensitivity to visual artifacts.

Advanced Graphics Settings

I tested each setting to see its FPS impact.
Some had almost no measurable effect, so I kept those maxed out on Supra.
For the ones that did affect performance, I’ve listed the “sweet spot” below.

Enjoy exploring Supraworld without your GPU melting! 🔥

Using -dx11 and your settings the game is perfectly playable on steam deck deck locked at 30fps/90hz

Playing Supraland without the Ray Tracing is super weird, everything is brightly lit and looks completely different. Its on by default because the game was designed around it, which I think may have been a mistake.

For more fps you can turn "-dx11" in setup settings
