What are Photographs? How do they work?
Photographs are a collectible set. You’ll take 23 shots across Valle Dorata to complete the collection and unlock The Collector trophy. None are missable, and nearby spots ping on the map with white icons. And yes, this is friendly to chapter replay.

You get the camera during Chapter 4. The game even teaches a tiny focus and exposure mini game right there. After that, you can shoot story-only photos when prompted, or roam freely and snap the rest whenever you like.

Want to roam? Use Title Screen > Carcyclopedia > Drive after Chapter 3
