Welcome!

This guide will go over what you can expect to find in this game and a few tips/tricks to unlock the achievements and second stage. Enjoy your romp around the city!

In the base game we have four different characters to choose from, each with their own styles you can select using the Q and E key. There are also DLC characters on offer including a free character styles pack linked below.

Thrash
The drummer of an underground punk band.
They have an interest in buttons and pins.


Vrex
Probably a dragon.
They sport orange swim shorts and a fiery red crystal.


Rache
A great scientist, but a terrible coworker.
What were they researching?


Big Mig
The oldest of the characters.
He's an experienced worker with a kind heart.


Workshop Characters
Custom characters are supported through the Steam Workshop.
Achievements are disabled when using custom characters.

The game currently has two stages, both with various atmospheres such as day or night time. You can choose an atmosphere when selecting a stage.




Down Town
A medium-sized city near a beach, doesn't have many skyscrapers but is still dense enough to struggle walking around when you're bigger. Lots of vehicles to trample over or eat to replenish your stamina!




Atro City
A sprawling metropolis right by the waterfront with beautiful parks and huge skyscrapers. Opportunities are aplenty for causing maximum destruction with well-timed stomps.

Crush Hour
In this game mode you have 5 minutes to cause as much damage to the level as possible. Tip: Save buses and bigger vehicles for when you are larger, as you lose the ability to eat smaller cars after 175FT and can only eat buses at 242FT.


Time Attack
This mode times how fast you can destroy the city. Cars, Trees and other small obstacles are not counted towards the destruction percent. Tip: VIPS aren't as important in this mode but can still help you quickly grow.


Photo Mode
Photo Mode is great for posing characters or exploring the stages freely. There are lots of camera filters and options available here. It might seem overwhelming at first, but most of the screenshots in this guide were made with photo mode!


Sandbox
In sandbox mode you have unlimited time and stamina to stomp around. You can pick a starting size and tweak the damage scale to have a tiny character do some serious damage or turn a giant character into a marshmallow.


Custom
Lastly, we have the custom game mode where you can change the game rules to be however you want! Create your own challenge or push the game to its limits. Achievements can also be earned in this mode.

Split-Screen
You and a friend can choose to work together or compete in any of the above game modes.
Workshop characters can be used in this mode.






Leaderboard
Click this button from the main menu to bring up the leaderboard and compete with your Steam friends for the highest score. There's also a handy achievement checklist!

There's a handful of achievements up for grabs, and this section will go over tips for how to complete each one.

Kaiju 101
Deal $150,000,000 in damages in less than 5 minutes in Crush Hour or Time Attack. Remember, you can eat cars to gain strength instead of waiting around! Your stomp will be most effective in destroying large sections of the city.



Crushing it!
Similarly to Kaiju 101, you need to cause $400,000,000 in damages in less than 5 minutes in Crush Hour or Time Attack. To save time, you can hold a vehicle while attacking and eat it when you need to. Make sure to aim for large groups of buildings and those VIPs!



Red-Carpet Treatment
A straightforward achievement, all you need to do is keep an eye on where the VIP spawns and stomp the marked vehicle.






Three-Star Gourmet
Similar to the above, you'll need to keep watch for a vehicle to become a three-star VIP then chow down on it. When a VIP is marked, it will not give a sound queue but will show up on the edge of your screen. Keep watch for this popup and you'll have no problem!



Field Goal
Kicking a car between two windmills sounds easy, though getting it exactly right is tricky. I recommend going into Sandbox mode in Atro City and setting your size to 100 with the damage scale at 150. Immediately turn left and there will be a few cars in front of the windmills. With a bit of trial and error, you'll be able to kick a vehicle between the windmills no sweat!

Do u speakz UWU?
A pwetty simpwe achievement, head into the options menu and change the language until you get to UwU.






Sniper
Throwing a vehicle at a VIP target is more difficult than it sounds. I recommend waiting for a large building to be marked then throw a box truck or a bus at it.





Dunking Donuts
Grab hold of a police cruiser and toss it into the water! Let out your inner rage against the machine.






Hungry for Pizza?
To get this achievement, you'll need to eat all 5 pizza delivery cars scattered around Down Town. Pizza cars do not spawn in Atro City and can be a bit difficult to find, I recommend going into Sandbox mode so you can explore without a time limit and set the damage scale to 0 so you won't accidentally crush the cars beyond recognition.

What... now?
Destroy the entire city! This can be done in Sandbox mode with a bit of tweaking, set yourself to have maximum size and damage scale. From there you'll only be a few stomps away! Cars do not count towards the destruction percent of the city, so you only need to worry about the buildings.
