Definitely going to scrutinize the process a little more if I get another large map that requires this much work though. Good time to make that Repainting Latus pretender though. Just need to think of a suitably deranged setup.
Wish I could give a more clear-cut ETA on it but man, this much repainting really gnaws at the old brainstem. I'm going to have to look into a way to generate a proper province border overlay if I need to do something of this scale again. The in-engine paintover editor can be a bit of a struggle if you're trying to leave gaps in the open spaces of the map. Real easy to get line angles wrong.
