A re-telling of the original Portal's escape sequence. The special testing element here is inspired by the super gravity gun in the Citadel levels of Half-Life 2.

JANUARY 15th 2015 UPDATE: RESTABILIZING DESTABILIZED
I think I'm funny.

Fixed some things here and there to make the chamber a bit less bad. Unfortunately for those of you who hated the gel puzzle, that's still there.

heyy, so it's been a while...

Would you ever be willing to remake the test chamber part of this mod to be visually consistent with Portal 1 Remastered?
This is the only mod I've seen on this workshop that attempts to recreate Portal 1's escape sequence, and it would be nice if it all looked good together.

@D YellowMadness The gel was there because that section was taken from a past map I made. It's a reference to the way the final levels in Portal had you going through past test chambers during the escape. I ended up using the gel when I solved that room but I guess it's not necessarily required. Also, I do recall the turret room being pretty dark, so if that's what you're seeing then it was intentional at the time, though I'm not sure I'd do it that way now.

What was the point of the gel? It didn't help me in any way. Is the turret battle room supposed to be almost pitch black?

It took me forever to realize my own gun was killing me at the wall tile puzzle because I thought the wall tiles were killing me by hitting me so hard.
