Spread your rule across the Rimworld with self governing colonies that are loyal to you and you alone. Command them to fight in your name, and destroy your enemies. But politics is always a deadly game.
Events will periodically influence your colonies, or your faction as a whole. You must decide how best to respond to these situations. And beware, a poor guiding hand will have consequences, your faction may lose faith in your leadership entirely, and take their destiny into their own hands.
Your colonists will pay taxes, be it in silver, or goods. You can tell them where you want your taxes, and they will dutifully pay them. A fully customizable faction name and title allows you to put your own spin on your subjects. They can be feudal vassals, a megacorporation’s branch offices, or even a shining beacon of truth and liberty. It is all part of the greater story.

@Ganyu please check the pinned discussion, this is because of rimwar, there is no fix and none is planned since it's not up to us.

@Vide Noir the mod keeps being updated, something may have slipped and consumes a lot of resources, if you have the logs of your game we can take a look at them (post it under bug reports on the discord, thanks)

@TheMilkMan as said this is because of Rimward, please check the pinned discussion.

I am having the same issue as Ganyu, I dont get any notification (not in the top left of a box in the bottom right) whenever a settlement is being attacked. This doesnt allow for an option to help defend with other settlements and is kinda frustrating ngl. Its just get the trait that means you dont loose anything after being raided and thats not super fun. Great mod otherwise hope you can fix that soon :)

I'm having an issue where I'm not notified when a settlement is getting attacked or scouted, and when I try to click on the settlement being attacked (or about to be attacked), it's not giving me the option to defend and send troops :/ Is this a bug? I have a military built for each settlement. No other mods other than empire and rimwar.

@Spamton G. Spamton: Simply use the button (can't remember where it is, sorry) and a portion of your accumulated research from empire will be used on your current project.

@Tardo The Ass-Monkey: That is already fixed in the experimental (github) version, which is being worked on but we want to release when possible. Sorry for the problems it may be causing you, feel free to change to the experimental version but be warned that, just like the name indicates, it's experimental, so expect a few bugs (although for the most part people don't seem to have much issue with them from what I can see).

Getting a warning everytime taxes are delivered, and a message telling me to report it if I'm not skipping time (which I'm not, as far as I know). I'm also getting a warning about it reseting the time between taxes, which is annoying, since it always sets it to 1 day even when I go change it to be longer.

It is fully possible that it has something to do with my other mods. I run a lot, and admittedly do basically the bare minimum sorting and debugging to keep things running. But I looked over the errors and didn't see any other mod names mentioned, so I'm not sure.
