Ultimate Hellslave Guide: Mastering the Fight for 100% Completion
由 ItchyBun 制作
Welcome to my complete achievement guide for Hellslave!
If you're aiming to 100% the game or just need help finding an awesome build, this guide has you covered. I’ve included everything you need — plus tips that helped me get through tough fights and key decisions.

Achievements in Hellslave are mostly unlocked by simply progressing through the story and interacting with everything you come across. One particular achievement requires you to inflict an average of at least 170 damage per second, and it’s surprisingly easy with the build I’ll walk you through in this guide.

The only part that can really make you overthink is the crafting recipes. They’re not difficult once you know the steps — and I’ve laid everything out clearly so you can focus on enjoying the game without getting stuck on the details.

What to Expect:
-Combat advice, dungeon tips, and the best demon choice to make your run smoother and easier
-General strategies and explanations for things the game doesn’t explain well
-Easy crafting techniques
-Everything you need to get 100% achievements

Town Merchants
There are only two towns in Hellslave: Byleth and Synok
Each one serves as a hub for merchants, stash, crafting, and Quest NPCs

Byleth
Byleth Forge

Byleth Forge is where you'll find the blacksmith, who lets you buy and sell items and craft recipes you've unlocked

You can switch between Trade and Forge options with the Blacksmith by clicking the icon where the cursor is pointing:

Byleth Refuge

Byleth Refuge is where you'll find the Druid, who can brew potions using demon blood after you defeat them. She also sells items and materials and is the only merchant in Byleth who sells potions

Note: You can carry a maximum of 3 Health Potions and 3 Mana Potions at a time

Byleth Inn

Byleth Inn is where you can rest to fully restore your health and mana

There’s also a Ration vendor at the Byleth Inn — a lady who sells Rations that restore a small amount of health and mana when consumed

This merchant provides all essential crafting materials and becomes available as you progress through the story. Once unlocked, he’s a reliable source for rare materials needed for recipes, especially in Inferno mode

Synok
Synok Workshop

Synok Workshop is where you'll find the blacksmith, who allows you to buy and sell items as well as craft recipes, just like in Byleth

Note: The items available here are different from those in Byleth

Synok Shelter

Synok Shelter is where you can buy health and mana potions, items, and few materials

Note: The items available here are different from those in Byleth

Synok Dispensary

Synok Dispensary is where you can recover your health and mana, just like at Byleth’s Inn
Understanding Dungeons in Hellslave
Dungeons
Outside of Byleth and Synok, you'll find dungeons filled with enemies, treasure, and secrets to discover

This is the kind of dark, enemy-filled dungeon you’ll be fighting your way through

What You’ll Find in Dungeons:
  • Interactables
  • Story Progression
  • Lore/dialogue events
  • Loot drops
  • Traps
  • Demon shrines
  • Anomalies
  • Demon Portals
  • Enemy encounters

Interactables

The white circles you see on the left and right are interactables. These mark points in the dungeon where you can trigger events — such as story quests, treasure, traps, demon shrines, or enemies

Loot

This is where you’ll find loot — often shown as chests, corpses, or other objects. Interacting with them can reward you with weapons, materials, or gold

Traps

Sometimes, these loot spots trigger traps. When that happens, you’ll need to quickly press three icons that pop up — do it before the timer runs out to dodge the trap and earn EXP. Fail to press them in time, and you’ll take heavy damage. If you’ve disabled traps in the settings, you’ll automatically avoid them and still get the EXP

Demon Shrines

This is a Demon Shrine. Interact with it to pray and choose a demon to worship — each one grants a unique buff. Here are the buffs you’ll receive from each demon:

Moloch Shrine
“The reward that Moloch holds in store for his lackeys.”
 Receive gold instantly.

Mammon Shrine
“The gold of Mammon trickles on the ungodly souls.”
 Enemies drop +25% more gold.

Lucifer Shrine
“The fallen angel doesn't give his blessing to the weak and the maimed.”
 Gain +10% armor.

Berith Shrine
“Berith gives a second breath to those who are exhausted.”
 Regenerates health and mana.

Beelzebub Shrine
“Beelzebub wants me to spill blood to his glory.”
Gain +1 Life Potion after your next fight.

Baal Shrine
“Baal only lends his shadow to those who neared death.”
+5% Dodge Chance (Only activates at low HP).

Astaroth Shrine
“Astaroth leans over my shoulder to transmit his knowledge.”
 Earn bonus experience.

Asmodeus Shrine
“Asmodeus wants to drink the blood of my enemies.”
 Steal life on melee attacks.

Satan Shrine
“I must defeat Satan's henchmen so he will give me his power.”
 +7% Critical Hit Chance.

Anomalies

Thing mysterious blue thing is called anomalies. All you have to do is interact with them and listen to the whispers.
They don’t trigger traps or combat

Tip: Find and listen to all anomalies to unlock an achievement

Demon portals

These red structure is known as a Demon Portal. Interacting with one will activate it, unlocking a fast-travel point for that dungeon.

However, be warned — entering a portal means fighting through waves of tough enemies.

This is what it looks like once you enter a portal — you’ll be thrown into a separate combat zone filled with strong enemies (Not that strong)

Tip: Expect a battle, and come prepared. Enemies inside the portal drop specific demon materials used in crafting later recipes

Threat Indicator

The skull icon you see on the right side of the screen is called the Threat. It shows the current danger level of the dungeon — if it’s weak, the dungeon is safe for now. But be warned: the threat level can rise again as time passes

Threats usually start with weak, close and imminent

Weak – You’re safe for now
Close – Enemies are getting closer. You need to stay alert
Imminent – A dangerous encounter is about to happen. Get ready

Once threat becomes imminent, enemy fights may trigger

Battle Triggers
Battles in Hellslave begin when you see a red demonic icon appear on your screen and hear a distinct audio cue. This means an encounter has been triggered, and you’re about to enter combat

It’s immediately followed by a demonic ritual circle

You’ll face waves of demons in turn-based combat. The further you go, the stronger they get — so come prepared

Invisibility

You can press the blue icon located on the bottom right of the threat meter to turn invisible. This lets you avoid enemy encounters temporarily.

The duration depends on how many seconds of invisibility you currently have — so use it wisely to sneak past enemies to continue your exploration
Step-by-Step Combat Guide
Hellslave enemy fights are turn-based, but not in the usual “you-go-I-go” kind of way. Every action has a time cost — some skills let you chain moves without ending your turn, while others delay your enemies’ actions. Mastering this system is the key to dominating every fight

In this section, I’ll teach you exactly how combat works so you’re not just pressing buttons blindly. Here’s what you’ll learn:
  • How to read and control the turn timeline
  • How Fatigue affects you and your enemies
  • How to time your skills to stay one step ahead
  • How Momentum is used in battle
  • How Poison and Bleeding trigger and stack over time

The Turn Timeline

The turn timeline shows the order of actions in battle. It tells you whose turn is coming up next, how much time your action will consume, when your turn will end, and which enemy will attack next. Mastering it helps you plan effectively and interrupt enemies before they get a chance to act

Character Icon

This icon represents your character icon on the turn timeline

Enemy Icon

The Lubricator (the enemy in the middle) is highlighted by the cursor on the turn timeline. This shows you exactly when that enemy is going to act

Every second counts

This is how you count your turns. The black line on the turn timeline represents time in seconds. You always begin your turn at 0, and any action that consumes Fatigue adds time. Each point of Fatigue is equal to 1 second. After using a skill, your icon shifts to the right on the timeline. If you move past an enemy, they’ll get their turn right after you finish your turn

Fatigue

Beelzebub's Claw consumes 8 seconds of Fatigue, which you can see on the timeline starting from the black line just after your character icon. The game shows exactly where your icon will land after using the skill. A shadow of your icon appears 8 seconds ahead. If you count 8 ticks from your current position, that’s where your turn will end on the timeline

Momentum

The large diamond with a hollow center on the Turn Timeline is called the Momentum icon.
Once your character's icon reaches this point, you’ll be prompted to choose a Momentum ability, based on what you’ve equipped in your Power > Momentum slot. In the image above, you will start your momentum in 4 seconds

Poison and Bleeding

Poison and Bleeding are triggered when your turn reaches the red diamond on the Turn Timeline, the one the arrow is pointing to. I used a different image here to better explain how the seconds work. As shown, you have 5 seconds left before the stacked poison and bleeding effects proc and deal their damage

If you’re wondering what the Poison and Bleeding icons look like, here’s a picture to help explain. The demon on the left has 1,201 Poison and 420 Bleeding stacks, while the one on the right has 10,313 Poison and 543 Bleeding stacks

Both effects will trigger in 1 second, as indicated by the red diamond icon's position on the Turn Timeline
Baal - Poison & Bleeding Build
Baal excels in aggressive play, combining damage over time (DoT) and sustained pressure with strong skills that enhance survival. With a focus on poison and bleeding, this build shreds through enemy health bars, even in tougher encounters

✅ Fast kills – Damaging effects stack and bypass armor
✅ Boss-friendly – Fights favor poison and bleed overtime
✅ Good synergy – Works well with gear traits and passive upgrades
✅ Low maintenance – You can apply debuffs and let enemies delay their turn

Stats to Focus On:
• Poison Damage
• Bleeding
• Double Strike
• Sweep

Momentums you should equip:

Skills that do not appear in the skill tree
Lightning

Baal's Form
Consumes Demonic Points

Demonic Points are earned from turns. It is shown by the icon where the cursor is pointing in the image above. You gain them passively through combat, and they’re used to unlock Baal's form

This is Baal's Form effects:

Tip: You can cast Baal’s Form after using your other important buffs and setup skills, because once you're in Demon Form, several key abilities reset and can be used again (like Focus, Satanic Power, Asmodeus’ Outburst, etc.), giving you a powerful second round of combos
Goetic Words and Syllables

Goetic Words
Goetic Words are powerful magic words linked to a scroll you get early in the game. You earn ½ syllable per enemy kill, storing up to 10 half-syllables. In combat, use the [ + ] button to add a random syllable to your scroll (up to 5 total). Each cast takes 1 second of Fatigue and counts as a full action

Words List:
• GOR - Restores Mana = [Level × 2]
• KHAN - Next hit is a guaranteed Critical (first hit only)
• SHEOL - Heals = [Level × 2]
• XEYN - All enemies: -50% Hit Chance (10s)
• ZUUL - Magic AoE based on Level (can crit)

Goetic Syllables (Combos)

Casting certain two-syllable combos in the exact order gives extra effects
Note: Only two-syllable combos work. Three or more won’t trigger multiple effects

GOR + SHEOL = Mana Drain
(Level × number of enemies) mana restored

GOR + XEYN = Mana Dodge
Restore mana after next successful dodge

XEYN + SHEOL = Healing Dodge
Heal after next successful dodge

ZUUL + KHAN = Bonus Damage
Next attack gains (Level × number of enemies) bonus damage

Baal’s Bleed and Poison Boost (Passive)

These are the passive skills in order for better synergy with active skills:

Baal's Fluid – Increases basic Poison damage (1 point per level)

Spreading the Plague – When an enemy takes Poison damage, 20% of it is applied to all other enemies

Toxic Sting – When hit by melee damage, reflect 20% Poison damage back to the attacker

Anatomic Vision – +25% Bleeding chance. Melee attacks may apply Bleeding equal to 40% of the damage dealt. Every 10 seconds, targets lose 1 HP per Bleeding point, which is then reduced by 80%

Poisonous Explosion – When you land a Critical Hit, deal +15% poison damage to all enemies

Wounds Suction – When an enemy takes Bleeding damage, recover 20% of the damage as Health

Gaping Wound – Adds Bleeding points to the target equal to 20% of the Critical damage dealt

Porosity – When an enemy heals, gain 30% of that amount and split it between Health and Mana

Natural Regeneration – Recover 5% of your max Health every 10 seconds

Drakul’s Smile – Melee attacks heal you for 5% of the damage dealt

Asmodeus’ Curse – Gain 5% of the damage dealt (physical or magical) as Health

Spouse of Shadows – +5% Dodge chance

Assassin – Start fights 4 seconds ahead. Your first hit is always a Critical

Zealot Fever – Recover Mana and Rage when melee attacks hit. (1 base point + 0.1 per level)

Relentlessness – After a melee attack, immediately strike again for -50%

Hot Blood – Start combat with +10% Rage

Supernatural Reflexes – 30% chance to counter melee hits for -50% damage

Amplitude – 30% chance to hit adjacent targets at -50% damage

King of the Hill – +5% Melee Critical chance

Fireblow – Melee attacks deal unavoidable +20% weapon damage

Devastating Impact – Additional unavoidable +20% weapon damage

Mad Dog – Start with +20% Melee damage (decays by 1% per sec, +20% bonus when you turn into a demon
Step-by-Step Skill Rotation for Max DPS
These are the active Skills (Max level) in the recommended order of use during battle for maximum effectiveness (Most effective if Baal's form/demon form is charged)

You need to proc the Double Strike stat for this to gain more Rage in a short time
(Relentlessness, Hot blood, Fireblow and Devastating Impact passives increase your chances hit more and generate Rage after hit)

Start the skill with:
Focus
Beelzebub’s Fury
Time Warp to delay their move
Asmodeus' Outburst to reduce fatigue by 60%
Beelzebub’s Claw

Note: You need to stop once you notice the poison is about to trigger (don’t let it reach 1 second before the poison and bleeding proc) — this prevents wasting the effect. Keep your Rage above 40 and avoid using Rage-draining skills

If your Rage is still below 40 with Baal's Form:
(Usually occurs if your level is not yet max)
Use Sacrifice to Moloch, then Interruption. This combo should push your Rage past 40

If Rage is 40 or above with Baal's Form
Continue with:
Satanic Power
Venom of Limbo
Sacrifice to Moloch
Apocalyptic Choreography
Wound Aggravation
Baal’s Form

After transforming, you should have more than 40 Rage again

Proceed with:
Satanic Power
Sacrifice to Moloch
Apocalyptic Choreography
Balam's Frenzy
Sacrifice to Moloch
Interruption (If you didn't used it earlier)
Sacrifice to Moloch
Destruction
Sacrifice to Moloch
Balam's Strike
Wound Aggravation to double the stacks again
Infection on each enemy
Sacrifice to Moloch
Balam’s Strike to gain fatigue and trigger the stacked poison and bleeding points

If some enemies died, you can recast Interruption and Destruction but don't forget to use it this way:
Sacrifice to Moloch
Interruption
Sacrifice to Moloch
Destruction

Tip: Always use Balam's Strike if you don't have other skills available to attack

If Rage is 40 or above without Baal's Form
If you don't have Baal's Form charged yet, proceed with:
Sacrifice to Moloch
Interruption (Attack the earliest enemy to attack in the Turn Timeline)
Sacrifice to Moloch
Destruction
Balam's Frenzy If Rage is 80 or above after Interruption and Destruction
Satanic Power
Venom of Limbo
Sacrifice to Moloch
Apocalyptic Choreography
Sacrifice to Moloch
Balam’s Strike
Wound Aggravation
Infection to each enemy
Sacrifice to Moloch
Balam’s Strike to trigger the stacked poison

If some enemies died, you can recast Interruption and Destruction but don't forget to use it this way:
Sacrifice to Moloch
Interruption
Sacrifice to Moloch
Destruction

Tip: Always use Balam's Strike if you don't have other skills available to attack

Congratulations — you did great damage!

Use Atonement to heal. You can cast it after Sacrifice of Moloch to gain health
Use Martyr's Death Rattle if the enemies are not yet defeated, and your health is very low (Usually happens on bosses)
Use Decay if an enemy's turn will be available right after your melee hit — it adds extra Fatigue to delay their turn
You can cast Time Warp again when health is low to delay their move
Recipes and Crafting 1 - 7
To craft powerful equipment in Hellslave, you’ll need a mix of specific items and materials — but first, you’ll need to find the recipes that unlock them

Where to Find Recipes?

Recipes are found inside dungeons (You will see a floating scroll inside the dungeon)

Below is a list of items and materials needed for early crafting recipes.
If you come across anything on this list, DON’T SELL IT — you’ll need it later to craft powerful gear

Weapons
• Short Sword
• Lich Trophy
• Bestial Axe
• Short Dual-Blade Sword
• Virtuoso Blade
• Troglodyte Golden Axe
• Abbatardes Guard Sword

Materials
• Silver Funeral Mask
• Iron Ore
• Owl Bone
• Infernium Ore
• Demon Tooth
• Abyss Coral
• Cobra Venom
• Pigments From High-Kolkhaz
• Stones of Arbenia

If you're playing on Normal, crafting Recipes 1–7 is pretty straightforward. All the required items and recipes are easy to find or purchase during your first run

You're wondering where Recipes 8–16 are, right?
These become available after you complete your first run. Once you finish the ending in Normal mode, the game automatically transitions you into Inferno difficulty

In Inferno, the next batch of recipes, items, and materials will start appearing

Don’t forget: To complete Recipe 8, you’ll need to collect one of the required base weapons before fighting the final boss in Normal mode — otherwise, you won’t be able to craft it later

You can choose any of the following:
Guard Trident
Knight Blade-Whip
Lava Mace
Recipes and Crafting 8 - 16
Advanced Crafting in Inferno Mode
Once you enter Inferno difficulty after completing your first run, new crafting Recipes 8–16 will become available. These recipes allow you to craft powerful gear that significantly boosts your damage and survivability — but the requirements are tougher

Note: When you sell items to the blacksmith, they can replace the original shop stock with the items you sold. To restore default shop items:
– Save your game
– Return to the main menu
– Load your game again

Important Reminder:
To craft Recipe 8, you must bring one of the following base weapons from your Normal run — you cannot obtain them in Inferno:
Guard Trident
Knight Blade-Whip
Lava Mace

If you didn’t collect one of these before fighting the final boss, you will not be able to craft the item for Recipe 8 for the rest of the playthrough

Easier crafting for Recipes 8–16
You don’t need to rush — just keep progressing through the story in Inferno Mode. Eventually, you’ll unlock an NPC who provides access to a wide variety of materials. Once you meet him, it becomes much more convenient to complete Recipes 8–16, since you won’t have to farm every single materials manually. This NPC appears automatically as the story advances — just keep playing and checking back in Byleth. This is what he looks like:

Note: Don’t sell your crafted weapons — you’ll need them again
What you specifically need for Recipe 16 are the orange-tier crafted items

You can technically use any weapon listed in each recipe, but I highly recommend following the exact items mentioned in this guide. They’re easier to find and make the path to Recipe 15 much smoother and more efficient
Recipe 9
Penetrator + Sacred Silver Funeral Mask + Pure Iron Ore + Monster Fang
= Gallant Piercer
(Note: It's listed in-game as "Innocent Piercer")

Penetrator can be bought at Byleth's Forge.

This item is required for Recipe 14

Recipe 10
Skeleton Relic + Animal Skulls + Ancient King Tooth
= Infernal Relic of Bisith

Leader Staff + Animal Skulls + Ancient King Tooth
= Afterlife Guide Staff

Both Skeleton Relic and Leader Staff are sold at Byleth’s Refuge

Both weapons are needed for Recipe 13

Recipe 11
War Cleaver + 2 Demon Tongues

War Cleaver is available at Byleth’s Forge

Recipe 12
Nightmare Double Blade + Virgin’s Flesh Crystallized in Children’s Blood
= Innocent’s Flesh-Eating Hydra

Nightmare Double Blade is sold by the man who sells materials. Just wait for him to appear in Byleth

Required for Recipe 14

Recipe 13
Afterlife Guide Staff + Infernal Relic of Bisith
= Infernal Punishment

You can craft this by combining the two crafted items from Recipe 10

Recipe 14
Innocent’s Flesh-Eating Hydra + Gallant Piercer (Innocent Piercer)
= Bloody Crusade

You can craft this by combining the two crafted items from Recipe 9 and 12

Recipe 15
Ring of Gzimeroidas Perpaxses Anamenorpidus + Sceptre of Thermistophles Xenozytarch
= Eternal Vengeance

Note: Both the Sceptre of Thermistophles Xenozytarch and the Ring of Gzimeroidas Perpaxses Anamenorpidus can be found on the left side of Hell

This is where the grind begins — but don’t worry, I’ll guide you through it so you won’t have to go through the same struggles I did

Make sure to save your game as soon as you enter this area. This helps you avoid repeating long sections if things go wrong

You need to interact with the nearest interactable and you need to find this chest

If you trigger enemies, traps, urns, or anything other than the chest you're aiming for, press Alt + F4 to immediately close the game, then reload your save to try again until you get the correct chest

Edit: The scepter and ring can be found on the specific area, dropped by any enemies, including the boss. The chest increases the chances of finding them

You’ll need to find each of the items shown on the Forge slot. They can only be obtained from the special chest I showed above. If you find any of the required items in the chest, save your game immediately. Then, head to the next nearest interactable and repeat the process until you’ve collected both items

Recipe 16
Craft 3 Red-Orange items to complete this recipe

That’s it! For sure, you’ll earn Hell’s Blacksmith after this!

Thanks for reading my complete achievement guide for Hellslave! I'm 100% sure that if you followed everything in this guide, you’ll unlock every achievement without missing a thing

Not only will you clear the game with ease, but you’ll also experience just how insanely powerful Baal’s poison and bleed build truly is. It’s one of the most satisfying ways to know the game

That was one hell of a ride — and now I’m passing the torch to you. Go show them what true damnation looks like

Good luck, have fun, and enjoy watching the demons melt

Nice guide. Trying to follow it but I'm really missing an equipment session. Weapons I guess I should go with whatever gives me poison damage, but then what good is the blade of Nivlatth? And what about the armors? What kind of bonus I'm looking for, especially in the defensive area?Like the wedding ring you receive - it's better get the mana regeneration or the health one? Went for the second one since there is no healing spell or momentum (I changed that) and enemies are crushing me, but I really don't know if this build will be heavy on mana side.

@RYNCOR | TTV You can try to maximize your attack counts and know when to proc the poison damage. I suggest buying max potions first before you engage the fight

ItchyBun  [作者] 10 月 12 日 上午 2:15
If you still need help @RYNCOR | TTV, I used items that stack more poison or bleed on my Baal build
RYNCOR | TTV 10 月 3 日 上午 12:05
bro how tf do i beat the war camp this shit is frustrating
ItchyBun  [作者] 9 月 28 日 下午 6:26
@macross104 You can find them in Hell (not to be confused with the Demon Portal). Just keep fighting enemies, and you’ll come across one of the items. Be sure to do this in Normal mode, as they’re no longer available in Inferno.
macross104 9 月 28 日 上午 9:41
May I ask where can I found the following ?

– Guard Trident
– Knight Blade-Whip
– Lava Mace

Thank you for this @knoglergerd, I'll update this. I'm glad you enjoyed my guide!
knoglergerd 8 月 11 日 下午 2:09
Thanks for the guide. Very Helpful. But 2 things: The Sceptre of Thermistophles Xenozytarch: You don´t need the chest, it dropped at a random find on the spot for me. But I agree, the chance is higher. And the Ring: I got it from archonton, when I got the apple.
ItchyBun  [作者] 8 月 4 日 下午 1:04
Let me know if you want to see videos showing how the combos work. (With and without Demon form). I’ll make an effort to show you just how strong this build really is
