Navigate to your workshop folder

D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\workshop\content - Mine is in D:Drive

Find Stronghold, mine is labelled "3024040"

You may have to go through the folders to find .map files to dictate that is your stronghold folder.

Find the .map file you want to edit.



Then copy that .map file to Stronghold directory maps folder in users

C:\Users\User\AppData\LocalLow\Firefly Studios\Stronghold Crusader Definitive Edition\Maps

Gunnies Map Unlocker is an old Crusader map unlocker that allows you to unlock maps for editing and siege toggling.

Make sure to use the small red "Download File"


Choose "Unlock Map", copy and paste the directory "C:\Users\User\AppData\LocalLow\Firefly Studios\Stronghold Crusader Definitive Edition\Maps"

And choose the map you want to unlock

And now you should be able to edit it like you made it.
