Templar Valley

Beskrivning
The deep ravines cut through the hard baked land, their tops encrusted in sharp and merciless rock. A strategically defensive valley favoured by the knights of Christendom as they made their way back home from the Holy Land. It was rumoured that upon leaving the knights Templar constructed a temple and buried the grail deep within it, resulting in the abundance of minerals and farmlands that spring almost magically from the sands. The Templar Valley offers everything one needs, however be warned, it is not only your enemies you must contend with. Wild and vicious animals are said to lurk within the shadows of the valley walls, waiting patiently to strike.

Hope you enjoy it. :)

Crusader Hill already downloaded, but have no time to test yet. But in plans in the next week. Path to Eden was tested yesterday - badass map, too many grass is good, to chilling to play in :DesertPalm::DesertPalm::DesertPalm::DesertPalm:

Thanks for the feedback, I'm glad you like it. I make these maps exactly for the reason you said, so people can make different and interesting castles, especially with how stupid the AI is operating atm lol can get boring.

Maybe instead of so many rocks I will try to use the rock texture instead and only a few actual rocks. I am working on a map right now but again it has a lot of rocks and is 800x800 so I'll be interested to hear how that goes lol.

It's hard to tell what cause the lag most, is it certain textures or is it accumulative and even too much grass shrubs etc. I have no idea.

Have you tried playing on my other maps, Crusader Hill has less rocks and vegetation than this one, do you still get lag on it?

Anyway, happy to hear feedback anytime :)

Hah, fine! So be it. Yesterday I was played on your map again, but PVP, without CPUs - It was okay after 40 minute, but since 500+ cap limit per player lagging was going again :D

Bless Firefly to fix :D. Map is amasing, too much of variants to create beauty castles in the desert rocks

Seem like they have a lot of problems going on with the game, I'm sure they won't fix it like usual lol.

I don't play multiplayer so i wouldn't have known, doesn't make sense for them to make these massive maps and more sprite if its going to lag players so badly. And this isn't even the biggest map size either. Judging from how angry they make you I'm guessing you have been putting up with their crap for a long time too XD

Same old firefly every time.

The map is AMAZING, but there are too many of details. Remembered 2001 year and SC:Extreme patch by efficiency no more 15fps and ping 400 in Gamespy :DD

Hi! Some report: in skirmish already okay, but in MP Unity had troubles - the engine was got tenses and lagging textures, connection was had a lot of delay, my dude played in 30-100 seconds before mine timelapse.
