ЛИАЗ-5293.70 — городской автобус большого класса, разработанный в 2007 году. От других модификаций модели 5293 он отличается двигателем Cummins CGe-250, который работает на сжиженном газе. Автобус рассчитан на перевозку 110 пассажиров и оснащен 24 посадочными местами. Он имеет полунизкопольный кузов: в передней и средней части платформа низкопольная, и только за задней дверью есть ступенька.
