but the last area was quite well made, its obvious you got better by the end
try to add crate with healthkit and battery, to encourage exploration
liked last fight the most; it's vertical and soldiers positions felt smart.
"weak points" to ponder:
-it's too ez to retreat to a safe zone where the soldiers barely/don't push. if possible find ways to really be pitted in the arena itself when the fight begins, not a bland corridor you can backtrack to.
-soldiers hounding you isn't always good. they just bunch up in a corridor like idiots. have some stick to vantage points and important positions.
-stealth is cool. but cops with their back turned even after an explosion is wack. think of more credible contexts to justify the element of surprise (player comes out of a vent, etc.).
hitscanners kind of suck to fight in hl2 so makin maps gud with them is harder. not impossible tho. play other folks' gud maps to inspire yourself.
- hard to navigate
- inconsistencies. Some props (doors for example) are not interactive + some buttons don't produce any sounds.
