During wandering in "Dark Tower: Gunslinger" campaign, survivors were chased by some strange jockeys in big number. They're all green. Ellis just asked everyone to keep running while other survivors had no idea why they should have kept running.

Ellis: "Just run run run...!! Run like crazy...!!" *panicked*
Nick: "Why? They're only jockeys with green skin."
Ellis: "Just trust me. Keep running! That green color is a bad omen."

As Coach had the worst stamina, thanks to his habit of eating lots of cheese burgers & chocolate, he was the first to stop to catch some breath.

Coach: "Wait... Hah, hah, sh*t... Let me catch some breath... Hah, hah...!"
Rochelle: "Look out, behind you...!!"
Coach: "What...?!"

Coach was too late to avoid when a green jockey was already in the air, just 2 steps away from him. Suddenly, an energy beam was shot just before that jockey landed on Coach's head & threw that jockey away. There was a man with orange martial arts outfit.

Nick: "Is that Goku? But he looks different."
Ellis: "That's his friend, Yamcha. But that outfit...is pretty old."
Yamcha: "Are you all fine? Take cover. These guys are not what you can handle..."

Then there happened some intense battles that were so fast that they could hardly be followed by eyes. He fought really well & beat more than 10 green jockeys. Survivors were reluctant to shoot as they were afraid of their shots landing on Yamcha with such very fast fights. However, one green jockey missed & jumped on his back.

Yamcha: "Ah sh*t...!"

BOOOM...!! There was an explosion at where Yamcha was.


Ellis: "NO....!!! Not Yamcha..., again..."
Nick: "Again...?"
Ellis: "This happened to him back then during Goku's first battle against saiyan people invading the earth. I never thought that this happened to him again here... Goku would be furious when he sees this..."

Just in few seconds, something fast landed near where Yamcha fell. There was a man with the same orange outfit that looked furious. He beat all the remaining 30 green jockeys in no time.

Ellis: "Sorry Goku. We couldn't do anything even as he protected us..."
Goku: "It's fine. He's still breathing. Luckily it's not as serious as the old time. I'll need to heal him for awhile. Protect me for awhile when I'm concentrating to treat Yamcha."
Ellis: "Sure...!!"
Nick: "Sh*t...! Now we have a jumping bomb..."

Thanks to Goku coming in time, Yamcha survived this time. After Yamcha was recovered, Goku asked him to follow him to chase Majin Boo. Before leaving, Yamcha gave an advice to survivors not to let any green jockeys jump on them.

Nick: "Anyway, you haven't told us about that jockey. You seem to know well."
Ellis: "I think Saibamen have also arrived here,"
Coach: "What's with that weird name?"
Ellis: "It's a monster planted on the ground. It can do a suicide attack by exploding. I think they got infected & now become jockeys."
Rochelle: "I think I'll need to go to some police stations now for a helmet. I need to cover my head from that little green guy."


That's for the background story for fun. Thank god that Yamcha survived this time :D . Well, about this mod, if you ever watched Dragon Ball, you'll be familiar with Yamcha's meme above because of a Saibaman. Yeah, this jockey has the power of that Saibaman. Watch out & cover your head.


List of features available on "saibaman jockey.txt" cfg file:
  1. Saibaman Jockey Chance: The spawn chance of this jockey.

  2. Fatal Explosion: Disabled by default. When enabled, one explosion is enough to kill the victim (be like Yamcha :D ). When disabled, the damage follows dificulty levels.

  3. Suicide On Normal Attack: When enabled, this jockey's normal attack has a chance to trigger Saibaman's suicide attack.

  4. Spawn Notification: This is to enable/ disable spawn notification.

  5. Stumble On Explosion: When enabled, the main victim & victims in explosion radius will stumble when Saibaman Jockey explodes (just like those on animated previews).


Mechanisms of "Saibaman Jockey":
  • "Saibaman Jockey" will spawn based on "Saibaman Jockey Chance".

  • "Saibaman Jockey" has green skin.

  • When successfully riding a survivor, he'll execute "Saibaman's Suicide Attack" by exploding himself. The explosion radius is 100 around the victim.

  • This suicide explosion will attract horde.

  • The main victim always takes full damage, while the victim in explosion radius takes damage based on how close to the center of explosion (the farther, the lower damage).

  • The other victim in explosion damage will be thrown backward by the explosion shockwave or stumble, depending on the setting on "Stumble On Explosion".

  • When "Fatal Explosion" is disabled, the damage is based on difficulty levels. Here's the table of damage:
    FATAL EXPLOSION = 0
    FATAL EXPLOSION = 1
    FATAL EXPLOSION = 2
    - EASY= 15 damage
    - NORMAL= 40 damage
    - ADVANCED= 60 damage
    - EXPERT= 600 damage
    (instant incap)
    - Main victim= instant death
    - victim in explosion radius= huge damage/ incap
    - All in explosion radius= instant death

  • Special infected teammates are immune to explosion damage, but they'll still be thrown backward by the explosion shockwave.

  • Common & witch take damage based on how close they are to the center of explosion, with 100 damage as the full damage in the center of explosion.

  • The jockey will die after exploding (he's not Vegeta after all :D ).


Q: "There's other jockey mod that explodes, like 'Sentry Buster'. What makes this different from 'Sentry Buster' mod...?"
A: "This one is based on Saibamen from Dragon Ball. The explosion mechanisms are also different, like, this one has very narrow explosion radius, only 100 or almost 1.5x melee range. & the jockey is still jockey that can jump & ride, but it's a suicide ride instead."


So, if you see a green jockey, hide somewhere & shove him just before he jumps, unless if you want to become Yamcha :D .

  • "Juggler Tank: Jockey Thrower" can throw this jockey. So, basically he'll throw a homing bomb :D .

Thanks @kurochama. I always edit some stuff in your mods for my personal use. I'm planning to edit a Jockey in Blender and add him on the back a fireworkcrate so with the Chimichamo's Sentry Buster script as a template I will create my own "Explosive Crazy Jockey" mod for my personal server and enjoy it with my friends online.

@Natasha Arias ✪ , fireworkcrate takes some time to explode & deal damage. It would be more ideal to spawn a propane tank & then explode it. But propane tank damage is too big for the victim in very close range, so it will be dangerous.
& I didn't make jockey drop fire because it will make him more dangerous, & at the same time it will ruin the horde when explosion sound attracts horde. But feel free to edit it yourself for personal use.

@kurochama amazing mod as always. What about after the jockey explode he drop a fireworks box? xD I was able to add to your code a function ongameEvent_player_death the ability to drop fire after the jockey die exploding on the players.

@SegaLord , currently there's no plan for another mutated hunter. There's "Cena Hunter" that you can try.

@ Unsants , it's a good ending this time. Yamcha survived in the background story (at least until he returned to Dragon Ball world again) :steamhappy:
