This will be a short guide and for those who have played games with ELO (such as chess, league of legends, DOTA, etc) will understand it pretty quickly.

Currently the game allows any player to play ranked games with any player, no matter their rank. The matchmaking system will try its best to find an opponent team that has similar ELO than ours in order to make things fair. That sounds great, right? NO.

Lets say you have 2 friends who are diamond/master (same as you) and you all three want to reach Champion rank. All you have to do is to create each one an alt account and follow these steps:


1) One player will use his main account (master), and the other two will use alt accounts (Bronze V both).
2) Play ranked mode until you win. Game will matchmake you against silvers and goldies. That should be an easy win.
3) Player who used his main account swaps places with other player who used his alt.
4) Repeat step 3 until all three have used their main accounts.
5) All 3 players use their alt accounts and lose 3 games to mantain their Bronce V rank.
6) REPEAT

This is kinda tedious, but will give you 100% victory rates and will boost all 3 players to ranks they would otherwise never be able to reach.

HOW TO FIX AND PREVENT MATCHMAKING ABUSES?

A) When in squad, set all squad members rank as if they were as the highest ranked player in the team. (on this example, all 3 players should be considered master, no matter if they are Bronze V).
Pros: This is good because you will be allowed to play with any friend no matter their rank. Short queue times.
Cons: matches could become very asymetrical if real rank difference is to high

B) Dont allow players to make teams with players with a 2 rank tier difference.
Pros: matches will be A LOT more fair for everybody.
Cons: you wont be able to play RANKED with friends of different rank tiers. Longer queue times.

On top of picking A or B as solution, CASUAL MODE should allow players to earn medals and complete missions so players can play with their friends to complete those. On casual mode just keep the current matching system.

This is a guide is meant to bring attention to a current state of the game that lots of players are already abusing. This "exploit" can be easly done with friends who play on different servers and that makes things even easier as you dont need to create an alt account.
