'Pieces were found several feet apart. Some were missing.' - CEDA Recovery Unit 23 Field Report #92-038.

Replaces the Witch's voice lines and attack sounds with something a bit less friendly, as well as making her running footsteps more audible for a sprinkle of fight-or-flight. Her low growl, pain and death voice lines are also silenced as to reduce your awareness of her status, so keep running.

Yeah, there's more limitations than features a lot of the time. Typical half-baked Valve sound design, really.

I see. Wish they had a cvar for how often her growls play, as it sounds goofy for some mods. I mean there is a cvar to decide how often infected pain sounds play (set it to 0 and everytime they get damaged it plays a damage noise) but none for the growls, it's unfortunate. Still, love this mod for the creepy cries and realistic screams.

@Legoshi's Lover I couldn't really find something that would fit the low growls and pain lines. They repeat so often that it sounded a bit silly at times. I then theorized that their absence would keep the player on their toes when they hear the crying, and even more so when the crying stops. Meanwhile, her death sound feels like too quick of a "confirmation" that the danger is dealt with.
