For Beginners

Welcome!
- This guide will cover the complete basics of both Attacking, and Defending in Rainbow 6 Siege in three easy steps (Steps Provided are Below). There are many more things to learn, but most should be experienced first hand to understand the flow of each match. This guide can be used by both new and recurring players. But most importantly.. Have fun!

Attacker - Step 1

Be sure to drone effectively, leaving your drone close to the middle of the Defender's Site can provide a superior vantage point when gathering intel.

Attacker - Step 2

Try to use most of your abilities close to spawn. this will lower the moral of the opposing team, making you appear a bigger threat.

Attacker - Step 3

Assume your team is disabled, since we know your strategy will most likely be superior, don't be afraid to run in solo.

DEFENDERS

Defender - Step 1

You can never be too safe when defending the site. Try to reinforce every wall surrounding the bomb; that way the attackers have less ways of approaching you.

Defender - Step 2

Try watching the Operator Trailers to understand your Operator more. You always want to stay ahead of the game!

Defender - Step 3

Using your specialties properly can be difficult, so try to plant all of them down at the beginning of the round to get it out of the way; leaving more time for you to focus on the Attackers.

i love the detail, i feel like ive opened my fourth eye and i can now defend and attack properly, i was copper 5 before now im diamond one because of this guide
