Simple HD Configuration files for Doom 3[gamebanana.com]


Here's a simple set of downloadable HD .cfg files set at 1080p or 4k. Useful especially if you're having graphical issues with low res textures even on Ultra.


To install, put it in the Doom 3 base folder, then access the console to do it efficiently, use ctrl+alt and ~ key to bring up the command console. Then type in "com_allowconsole 1"

Go into your settings and set it to Ultra.

Lastly, type "exec HD.cfg" or "exec UltraHD.cfg". This will enter several important commands from the CFG file and then reset the renderer. Wait for it to complete. It's fastest when done in the title screen.
