The Boeing 737 is the second most popular airliner ever made, selling over 11,000 of units since 1966. The Next Generation series, consisting of the -600, -700, -800, and -900 variants take the venerable 737 platform into the 21st Century, further increasing efficiency and capacity.
Sunset Airways uses 50 737-800s on all domestic and some international flights, making up an important part of the Sunset Airways fleet. First delivered in 2010 to replace older 737s, they will soon be supplemented by 737 MAX 8 aircraft, which will be delivered no later than 2028. This particular 737 was wrapped in a special American Flag livery to celebrate Independence Day in 2016.
